So for the longest time I wouldn’t go- starting on this journey of accepting symptoms, I went and got my first massage in over 3yrs- it was hard at first, won’t lie. But as I laid there accepting and accepting more and more- I realized by the end I was much less anxious and realized I can do this again. Have another booked next month! Doesn’t really matter what you say. Just become aware that the feeling is present.
Acknowledge the symptom with respect, and then choose to not think about it, dwell on it, engage with it, etc.
Remain calm as the symptoms surface, let it be as uncomfortable as it may be, don’t try to change it or get rid of it, or condemn it. Just acknowledge its presence and move on.

The fight or flight symptoms and thoughts are just questions from your brain which is concerned about your safety - am I safe? and if u answer no im not im going to die well...great video as always. and for everyone still in the process keep it up! but well this doesnt mean that sometimes u need to make lifestyle adjustments. if ur in a job or relationship which doesnt suits u and u have the option to leave, leave etc. Its both the reaction and safety and looking at ur life- what turned the first panicattack on? fear never comes without a reason.

Accept your symptoms, let it take over your body and accept that it's just my sensitive nerves that's trying to alert me because once you react in panic to these symptoms, your nerves get the signal that this is how they're supposed to react to save you. Once you start accepting the symptoms, your nerves get the signal that "Oh, you're not reacting buddy? That means it is normal for you and you're not in danger. Okay then! I won't alert you anymore".
And if we try to ignore the symptoms, our conscious mind is ignoring the symptoms, but somewhere our subconscious mind knows that the symptoms are scary and that's why we are trying to ignore the symptoms, and in this way our nervous system gets even more sensitive.
This is why, ACCEPT the symptoms to desensitise your nervous system.

Ignore: I don’t want to feel this so I’m going to distract myself.
If I feel or think of these things it’s bad and I need to keep doing things to make it go away. Vs
Acceptance: I can do whatever I want even with these symptoms. I’m just going to live my life even if symptoms are here. I no longer care if they come because they can’t hurt me.

@@asthapatidar6347 I’m assuming that this is something you have ruled out as non-issue with a doctor? If that is the case I can still understand why this particular symptom would be hard to face and accept in the moment, my suggestion would unfortunately be to (with another person or even at a hospital waiting room if it feels that serious) let the choking sensation happen while reassuring yourself mentally something like ”I am experiencing anxiety, I am safe” and then trying to really go deep mentally INTO the sensation, requesting it to get even WORSE, if you manage to get through the sensation without doing your safety behavior (swallowing) you will see that it cant hurt you, I believe that is very important considering anxiety is about fear.

Well, try to realise that people think just like you do. Out of defensiveness, I always said ‘hi’ in a happy way and just walked by past people. That is why most people were not interested in me.
When I showed interest, aka ‘hi’ and then following with ‘how are you doing?’ ‘What keeps you busy?’ They suddenly talked a lot more and asked me loads of questions. This made me realise something.
Show interest to an extravert, and they will be interested in you. They love talking about themselves. And they try to ask you questions to comfort you into talking with them. It’s almost like a trade. And eventually you will feel comfortable and the relationship grows. As deep as you want it to be!
You’re allowed to be yourself. If someone acts like you’re not good the way you are, don’t doubt yourself. It could be that the other person is the one who needs work.
Extraverts are really not that hard to understand.
And then there are introverts. They get anxious when they see someone who is anxious. They try to avoid the situation. But the key to conversation really is staying despite the uncomfortability. ‘What is wrong with being afraid during a conversation with a new person?’ Being scary is normal. Loads of people are like that. And it is okay if it shows. It’s perfect if the other person sees it!
Some people will avoid you instantly; that means they are insecure about being anxious.
Others will understand and try to help you by asking questions and keeping your mind off the panic.

Well. I see your point. But here is my answer that really helped me, if you are anexious your nervous system is sensitive, it doesnt matter what u do, you will feel fear. If u starr at something you will feel fear and it is not real. So knowing that fact that no matter what u do you will feel fear because your nervous system is sensitive should make you not fear your fear happening because of your neevous system. Right ? If you dont fear that fear you will start desensitizing and your brain will loose interest in whatever fear cause your symptomes. Right ? Dont fear the fear caused by anexiety.
