Hey guys! No commentary for this vid. I've been grinding a lot of Aphelios in solo queue in my own time, not for content but just because I'd love to hit Master with him. I thought I'd try uploading some of the most banger games I've had in case any of you might be interested in watching despite the lack of commentary. I think I'll definitely be able to hit Master very soon, I'm already playing in Master lobbies on my solo account! (These games are all on my duo account which is around ~D2 MMR)
I just want you to know that if you ever think you are making these videos for nothing, you absolutely are not. I only really play Senna as a one trick, today my friends are I were just hanging out in ARAM and I got Aphelios and from me watching your videos even though I didn't know even close to 60% of what I was doing. I remembered the good gun combos and how to swap between t hem well and I ended the ARAM 24/6 :) Thank you for the videos and commentary on them even if this one doesn't have any, I now know what I'm looking at and can replay parts of the video to see more of what I missed
Oh nice! Was hoping for more Aphelios content; with Heartsteel coming out I've been looking for a reason to pick him up again. Thanks for the great stuff as always!
Im watching and trying to learn more about aphelios to get better at him. What was the reason you went anti heal instead of lord doms in the ezreal game?
Cho'Gath was building AP rather than tank so I wouldn't have the usual Giant Slayer efficiency (some but not full), and Soraka provides an absurd amount of healing. I also realized recently I've been underrating Mortal Reminder because it gives 5 more AD than LDR, so in theory in a game where the enemies have little to no bonus HP and little to no healing but you do need armor pen, where neither feels like the obvious choice Mortal Reminder should be the more efficient one because it just gives more stats. Mortal Reminder is criminally underbuilt right now relative to how close in strength it is to LDR (though LDR should still be the more common one just because other people on your team can build Grievous Wounds but you're the only one that can build Giant Slayer).
I've seen you mention in other videos that what you use for instant death replays is replay hub. I tried looking up replay hub but nothing comes up, is there a different name possibly? Thanks!
Hey I love your videos, keep watching them regurarly to improve and climb out of Plat2-3. One thing I noticed is your dodging long ranged skillshots. Can you do some commentary on that one day? I just most of the time suck in Ezreal Q or Zyra E or all the hooks Thanks for your chill content!
Long ranged skillshots are the easiest ones to dodge because they require the least reaction time to juke, and skillshots in general are usually aimed either directly at you or in the direction you're walking, so they're usually easily juked by walking in the opposite direction. So you barely even need to wait and see where they're aimed, all you need is good reaction time. The moment you see Zyra casting E you're already dodging from the location where she's likely throwing it. No 'real' reaction time needed, just see the skillshot being cast, juke in the opposite direction, that's a dodge X% of the time, with X being lower and lower the higher you climb as people stop aiming so predictably. When their skillshot is on point with your initial juke (when you got predicted), that's when the real reaction test begins as you have to adjust your dodge. Otherwise it's not a challenge. In low Elo I can look like a scripter god because I can juke most skillshots without needing to see what direction they're thrown in. The closer range they are though, the harder it is to react even without needing to check the direction they're thrown in, and the more you need to predict both the timing as well as the aim.

what was that interaction at ~29:30 under the turret, you seemed to be able to auto from much further with your chakram Q being down.
As he used the first calibrum mark, a 2nd was placed for the 2nd auto.
