    I love the head design and how dynamic the wings are of this mecha. Sucks that some parts are missing though.

    SUPER excited for this figure. Seems to be a star of a 1:100 line of Moshow. They are going to re-release their Shingen Takeda and Masamune date in the scale as well which I think will mesh better with other more common robot models/figures

    speaking of IBO and The Five Star Stories I heard from Japanese reviewers saying the Gundam Bael looks like a Mortar Headd from TFSS than a Mobile Suit from the Gundam series in terms of design aesthetic.

    • @dubborino979

      They're great to have near your desk and pose around although not everyone is like that. Moshow has such supremely awesome quality and I know I'm being a shill hut their products are kickass and with how much stuff is in the box 200-ish bucks isn't bad whatsoever.

    • @arsenicsulfide7549
      @arsenicsulfide7549 5 месяцев назад +2

      It's moreso that I've bought enough figures - mostly 1/12 stuff like figmas - over the years, and it all just becomes clutter eventually. I still consider it though, a local shop has had the Masamune from moshow on display and it's always tempting lol

      @@ninjatango No, because with gunpla, you build it. You put care into it. Each one has a story behind it, especially when you're newer to the hobby. It's not the same with figures, even if they look nicer out of box.

      Outside of the literal wings and color scheme it has nothing else in common with either of those designs.

    • @Mc-Derpulous
      @Mc-Derpulous 5 месяцев назад +2

      @@MuShinnenso you just conceded his point… it has familiar traits of both parent units. Kinda like you know, how a child exhibits traits from a mothers side and fathers. Ie his nose looks like mom, but dads eyebrows are prominent. Simple biology.

    • @MuShinnen
      @MuShinnen 5 месяцев назад +1

      @@Mc-Derpulous No. Their point was that it looks like both units smashed together. It looks like neither. Plenty of Mecha have wings, and plenty more have a blue and white colour scheme. Also comparing biology to a mech design is beyond goofy. This thing literally shares no real tangible connections to either design, and it could be ruled completely coincidental. You tried though.

    • @jaykaye3482
      @jaykaye3482 5 месяцев назад

      @Mc-Derpulous - correct 100%.@@MuShinnen No then I would have said it looks like both units smashed together...wing arranngment is similar to wing gundam as is chest and head design, the circular golden joints, colour scheme, top of wing, red decals, ankle design very very similar to Hi-Nu. Could be completely coincidental assuming the designer has no knowledge of mecha at all as both designs are iconic...youre not the designer are you? Cause youre defending this pretty hard....not that it even matters, all art being imitation...now explain why and how comparing mecha design to biology is "beyond goofy"...let me first suggest you look up definitions for "simile"...and do you mean goofy like using the term "literal"" wings or does the mecha have figurative wings you needed to differentiate from?....theres always someone who is not as smart as they think they are..."you tried though". 🤭

    • @MuShinnen
      @MuShinnen 5 месяцев назад +1

      @@jaykaye3482 I'm not reading all of this just so you can justify a weird combination of things that don't actually fit a design for a toy.

  • @mcrxviii7456

    why do they always over design mechs, every time I see a MoShow release it looks like a mechanized porcupine.

    • @JJTheDev
      @JJTheDev 5 месяцев назад +3

      Moshow Wuchenghou is very much a "not a gundam" design with very few spikey parts. It's also my favourite one lol.

    • @derpolcu
      @derpolcu 5 месяцев назад +1

      i mean, it's the style of the line. it's ok not to like it, but it's not "overdesigned", it's designed just fine for what it's meant to be

    • @JJTheDev
      @JJTheDev 5 месяцев назад

      @@derpolcu I'll also add, after looking back, moshow designs are actually very rarely if ever porcupine like. that design aspect probably came from the hobby mecha side of this release. proof of this is just looking at the other progenitor effect mecha that are purely moshow: the Japanese ones have a samurai look with a bit of edge, the chinese wucheng has basically no edges, and the Lancelot is like the samurai, just a bit.
      so wondering why op is singling out moshow on this? p sure they are in this collab because of their supply line more than anything

    • @mcrxviii7456
      @mcrxviii7456 5 месяцев назад +1

      @@derpolcu their style is just to piggy back and profit from the existing IP, just like other third-party chinese companies redesigning mobile suits like the recent sazabi-barbatos esque model kit.

    • @ZakuAurelius
      @ZakuAurelius  5 месяцев назад +4

      It’s interesting. But I do also feel like these Chinese manufacturers are kind of flooding the market too much with these (roughly) 1/100 scale model kits and figures. Quality aside, the gap to fill while Bandai isn’t making new MGs is large but not that large.

    • @sharingansasuke5
      @sharingansasuke5 5 месяцев назад +1

      @@ZakuAurelius I liked ones such as the judge or hunt & kill, but some of the completely “original” designs feel a bit overdone to me honestly. This one isn’t that bad the more that I look at it, it’s growing on me. Like a knight x Angel x ninja?

    • @depshallburn
      @depshallburn 5 месяцев назад +1

      I think it's their best one after the original Takeda Shingen tbh and really wish it was a kit. Moshow needs to pull the Motor Nuclear.
