The Tamiya Jeep Wrangler with a surfboard on the roof, is in its element here on fabulous Pampelonne beach, Saint-Tropez on the French Riviera. A Jeep Wrangler with a surfboard on the roof looks just as much at home in Saint-Tropez as a Ferrari or a Lamborghini, and a Ferrari or a Lamborghini cannot be driven on the beach as a Jeep :). The shoot of the Jeep in the Sunset on the beach must be the best shoots ever taken of a Tamiya Jeep Wrangler! Vielen Dank Willi! Ja zurück bin ich (leider) 😊 Salzwasser ist schon bisschen schlecht. Hab zwar immer gut mit Süsswasser gespült, aber die Kugellager mögen das gar nicht. Zum Glück sind die meisten Teile am Chassis aus Plastik! 👍

Thanks! You have to make your dampers soft, with soft oil in it. And as second you have to add weight on the body. Most polycarbonate rc car bodies are to light. The hard plastic body of the jeep with the roll cage, light bar and interior gives a good weight for realistic movement.

Important is to rinse the car after the run with fresh water. But over all I do not recommend to use any RC in saltwater. Most likely you have to change the bearings after.

Great video and looks sooo fun. I did put a brushless in my CC 01. Crawls nice and it quick. I'm rebuilding a orginal tsmiya mountianerr. It's a money pit. It's worth it. There is a bruser out there on eBay but not Tamiya. It's a rtr truck. Have you bought one yet?

it will ruin your ball bearings if you dont use enough grease.
its important to dismantle the car afterwards and clean and re grease everything
