You know what? I'd contempt ol'Snaggle-tooth to 5 days for his "this is bullshit" comment - that's a DIRECT contempt.

    One of my favorite judge's
He's awesome. Hard when he has to be. When he's soft though it's usually for a good reason. Plus, he grew up in his town so he knows a lot of the people who come before him. He has a compassionate side but firm.

It IS right. If you don’t show up the court will side with the party that’s there.

I feel bad for the dogs because they have irresponsible owners!

Note the stepson's partner said Labrador cross Retriever then said Boxer cross .... blah blah about stuff.
Completely avoided saying breed(s) mixed with the 4yo boxer.
      Screams obfuscation.

Small claims wins or loses on a “preponderance of the evidence”. In other words: what’s more likely to have happened. As apposed to criminal court which is “beyond a reasonable doubt”. The bar is a lot higher in criminal court.

Dubious that the absent landlord mother even knew about the court date of her son & wife's dog attacking her tenant. 🤔 Did they think they could just speak on his mother's behalf! Not a geand plan if it was.
They'll have to get that fine paid licketysplit before Mom finds out, if so. 😊

Actually for Judge Middleton, that IS exploding. He's usually got a very even temper and doesn't yell like that very often.
