I would raise the mag to 1450-1500. Trust been in the hobby for 27 years it will help with algae and more phosphorus. And stop fertilizing you shouldn’t be using on a young tank. But a very large reef tank and beautiful selection of fish
Mg is at ~1439 from ICP test, I'll bump it up a bit to ~1450. I'm dosing ferts for the macro algae. It wasn't much to begin with anyways. I'll probably cut the doses by 1/2 to see if numbers improve
Great Videos and the tank is very nice. I am thinking of getting this tank and wondered whether 4 xr15's gives enough coverage and par for sps corals? Thanks
Great video! Glad to see the tank is doing good.

PAR ~200-250 in the middle of the tank using 70%. If you're going mainly SPS, probably want to go with xr30s. I'm going for a mix reef.
@@PurelyAquatic thanks, I am planning on mixed reef but would like quite a few sps too. I already have the xr15's so was hoping to save some money.
@@GM0971 Same thing here. I had XR15s from the old setup. So yeah it should work out for you too than.
@@PurelyAquatic thank you for your replies, your tank looks awesome, keep the videos coming
@@GM0971 Thanks, its slowly coming along. Still a lot of work to do.
