Thank you for this ! I learned something, sub bass levels have been driving me crazy and I was really worried about having it so much louder in my mixes to hear it.
i have a party speaker that has 2subs in one box so i need to mono them bycose otherwise the frequencies and bass wil cancel eachother out but if i mono it from my phone the treble becomes mono and i dont want can someone link me a tutorial how to do this
Mixing to mono first just means phase canceling will happen on signal level instead of acoustic level. Acoustic level will have an effect on spacial awareness and immersion, for some types of music, and cannot be disbanded as being the same or worse. Point is, phase canceling will happen regardless. The most significant chance is difference in pressure in the room. This CAN be bad (standing waves) or it can work out fine....
Why would you leave an random out of context comment on an unrelated youtube video though? .FXP is Serum's preset file type. There's an entire lesson in the course with how to open and use the presets. Please reach out on the course.

An this is why when the mic is loud it sounds fine. But when low the bass dips off. It’s a good reason to set you levels while monitoring quietly.
Thank you! Now it is totally clear to me and I can finally sleep well, without any thoughts about bass (joking)
how can i record my mac audio on fl studio like you bro? is there any program that i need ?
Thanks!
