The fact that they change some of the lyrics for Demi to better suit her instead of having her sing Idina's version to the letter makes it a great song on it's own, one where you can listen to this one without having to hear the original.

This song is a great litmus test. The instrumentation is excellent and uplifting while the lyrics are vile and despairing. You have here a girl celebrating her failure to fulfill her duty and blithely dismissing the havoc she causes to those around her in her selfishness. It's a classic villain song with a heroic veneer. People that get that are a lot more likely to think about what they hear and see critically.
When the movie was in theaters I was either 3 or 4...my mom took me to see the movie...but I wanted to see the nut job instead some reason, so we ended up leaving because I was being a whiny brat...9, almost ten years later....and this movie still managed to become one of my favorites...it always hits me with nostalgia...and the fact that frozen will be turning 10 soon in November (I think)...it makes me feel old...even though I'm still pretty young....something about the let it go remix in the credits hits me with more nostalgia than the original let it go...so I'm glad I managed to find it :D Edit: The fact that I have actually cry knowing that a movie is almost 10 tells me that I wouldn't be able to handle having kids and watching them grow up 💀

Woody.EXE told me i would be a beautiful Queen for him but I’m really not good enough. We had our coronation in July 2023 and it was such a magnificent day
So much memories of watching this movie in 2013 with my cousins who visited from very far away. I really miss my childhood a lot. This song made me very excited for Christmas and 2013 was also my favorite Christmas year because the year the PS4 came out and we all played cod and super Mario 3d world came out for the Wii U and I played that game with all my cousins and it was very fun.
