It's a House TD meme, unless you were keeping up, you prob won't understand. But in short, everyone thought the new Unit/Tower Darkness was gonna be out and that chapter 2 will start, but instead, they released another update and told the players that it will come out next week. They also used "Darkness is Rising Soon" as a quote for the update, which turned into "Darkness is falling" cause he got delayed.
