Yeah I love this one. I think it more about the paranoia or shame someone who’s fallen off the wagon feels when everyone is on their case, or watching, suspicious of the person. Much of Shannon’s struggles with addiction some out in his lyrics. The song Walk from their second album almost brings me to tears every time. Is about relapsing but finding the strength to pick yourself up and try again. So much the sadder knowing he didn’t make it out alive. So deeply underrated. Cheers!

It's about escaping everyone else's expectations of you, it's about addiction, it's about a few things. IIRC it was written in regards to a rehab stint. (Shannon Hoon, the singer, RIP, drug OD)
