MECO was founded in 1928 as Mechanical Equipment Company, Inc. In 1939, our future became crystal clear with the patent of the vapor compression process for the distillation of water. Presently MECO systems are working in countries on five continents -- from the United States to South Africa to Russia, from the Near to Far East, from the North Atlantic to the South Pacific, providing reliable USP purified water and Water for Injection. Our pharmaceutical and biotech products include Vapor Compression WFI Stills, Multiple Effects WFI Stills, Pure Steam Generators and Reverse Osmosis Systems. We also specialize in the pretreatment of water including Media Filters, Membrane Filtration, Carbon Filtration and Water Softeners.
