Being an old born&raised Floridian, I love boiled peanuts! True comfort food. My late Dad boiled his own, and later I bought them from a roadside vender who did them really great! 😊
Thanks for sharing the update Matthew. Personally, I prefer the vintage buckets. But, it's your choice to use whatever you want. Every builder has a vision of what they like and I think you should follow that vision. You should do the Monza, it's a cool little kit. 👍👍
I was holding my breath when you opened the Molotow bottle with one hand right over your car body. And I think the buckets are the way to go on this build. Thanks for the great videos!
Glad to see the foil on the side trim. I think you should completely cover your workbench in Molotow. That little section looks sweet, chrome bench FTW! 🤣
The vintage bucket seat would more align with the build, but the bucket with the belt openings would work if you're making it a racing chassis. That color is amazing!
This build is looking good Matt. In my opinion I would use the vintage bench seat. It's your build do it the way you want. The detail work is outstanding. Thanks for sharing.
I'd go with the vintage style seats myself. Growing up in the 1960s/1970s, I prefer those era styles. 😎👍 I still have my AMT Dodge 330 kit in my stash, so I'm enjoying seeing your Polara build. Might get an idea. 😊
Yes to the the foil on the side moldings👍 From memory, Polara's have that, looks great. Stop light metallic, had forgotten, good tip. Seats...caged, Sparco's acceptable. Restored...period correct seats preferred. Either bench or bucket. Bench has character. I am thinking the Polara 500s had buckets, Polara 440s had bench? Any of these will be great. Will watch for the Monza. Had forgotten Aurora made models. 👍👍
Old Car Old Seats. Its a sled so it wont pull low numbers so it doesn;t need the safety of the flash seats. Thats my Opinion though, its your model so your build
RUclips has been slacking on feeding me my MCV videos lately. 😆 Happy to see this “quick” update Mathew! I’ve always been a fan of that Dodge kit. Maybe I’ll crack open another copy soon and get me some MCV Products to enhance it. Hopefully I will get your videos back in my feed. Take care and keep doing your thing! ✌🏽😎👍🏾🎶🎶🎶
I think the Sparkos would be fine in her. Love the Monza!!!! I've used masking tape painted with flat black and electric tape for belts. Seem is on the bottom of the harmonic balancer. Hope that helps? I'll be watching
I mean, chrome shoes would look cool right? I like the bench seat personally, but the racing bucket seats as a retro/modern look would be kinda cool too.
Awesome progress on that 64 dodge. Digging the color. I usually use the stock bench seat, but thought about using the buckets from a lindberg little red wagon/a-100. those were the go to buckets for them factory superstockers and a/fx'ers.
Got my MCV Products today. Thanks for the tip on the AK gloss black. I've used Alclad gloss black primer in the past but had to add a touch of harder to it in order to get it to dry. I also use the dickens out of Mr Surfacer 1500. I'm a fan of the vintage style seat. that's me though
About your seat choice. I think it depends on what era of street muscle car you want to portray. I personally like the old-school buckets, but it's your model. It's gonna look great with whichever ones you use.
The bench would be good for a stock build. The Vintage seat would be good if it didn't have roll bars. So I say go with the sparco seats 💺 Very very deep and beautiful color , it's perfect for that body The engine looks great too . I love peanuts I have a trail of shells on the ground when I be here at work 😅😅😅😅great video
Nice 330 I would have never thought purple but she looks badass im ol skool so as far the the seats you might guess although it really depends haha on how modern street/drag car ie shifter tach switches ect your willin to go 😁🤩😎ps keep on rockin would love to have a set or two of the mopar buckets😋😛
That trim really pops against that color, glad you did it. I'd go for the vintage seat, the Sparcos seem too modern for the rest of the package to me. Its an awesome build!
Sparco seats would be great for a newer build. They really sit right in a 1/1 scale car. The Monza could be a great build with attention to details. Hope you build it.
Looking good! I would look for vintage drag racing seats myself, because of the roll bar, otherwise the old school bucket seats? Can you install engine and put body over the chassis with header clearance ?
The vintage fast back bucket with lap belts or etc. The Sparco seats always look cheesy unless in modern cars. I also seen street machines and muscle cars with aluminum race seats. These suggestions are from the real life cars i get to be around.
I’m building that 72 Chevy ramp truck. I made it a 4 door cab and single wheel opening on the bed. I’m looking for Dually wheels for it. I want get them from you but I don’t see them. Do you have em I’m missing em. Thanks
Wish I could help you with the seat choice, but none of the options stand out to me. I could see using the stock-looking bucket, maybe that's the way I'd go. But with the exterior color, I feel like the sky's the limit -- it strikes me as a very unusual color for that car. (But I get that it's MOPAR Plum Crazy, so it makes sense.) Re: boiled peanuts, I'm a native western New Yorker, so I'd never had 'em until someone from Georgia offered some to me. Sorry, it did not go well. I didn't know they'd be so mushy. Also, they were room temperature. I could maybe see how they'd be nice if they were hot. But lukewarm and mushy was not a pleasant combo for me.
Oh yeah! Also, this person from Georgia spoke with -- I guess -- a Georgia accent. It sounded like she said "bowled peanuts," so I had no idea what she was talking about! 🙂
Go with the factory seats for sure!!!
I personally like the vintage bucket seat but hey, it's your model so follow your heart. 😉
I agree with the other guys, old school bucket seat or bench
Bucket seat, masking tape cut to size painted black for the belt
One or two mm masking tape or the proper size Evergreen styrene strips would work.
I like the bucket seats. It’s your model Matt you go with what you like.
Being an old born&raised Floridian, I love boiled peanuts! True comfort food. My late Dad boiled his own, and later I bought them from a roadside vender who did them really great! 😊
Old school bucket seat is what I would use for that time, good luck on getting the peanut caned, love them. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks Donnie!
I like the vintage bucket seats, but it is your model. Nice update. Thanks for sharing.
👍🏻👍🏻
Old school bucket seats get my vote! Love the paint!
Thanks for sharing the update Matthew. Personally, I prefer the vintage buckets. But, it's your choice to use whatever you want. Every builder has a vision of what they like and I think you should follow that vision.
You should do the Monza, it's a cool little kit. 👍👍
Thanks Tom!

First of all it's badass all the way .The interior , bucket seats add harness ,. Detail door panels
Thanks!
I think those stock looking buckets would look great.
Stock bench seat, because Lil Jimmy likes to take his dates out to the lake, and a bench seat makes it a whole lot easier to slide on over¡¡¡
Lol! 👍🏻👍🏻
I like the vintage seats but, it's your build. It looks great so far keep up the good work Matt.
I like the older buckets. Looking really good, digging the color.
Thanks Gavin!!
This build is looking good Matt. In my opinion I would use the vintage bench seat. It's your build do it the way you want. The detail work is outstanding. Thanks for sharing.
👍🏻👍🏻
Sweet looking build so far Matt! I like the vintage seats, they're a cool design! 😎👍
Just the plain bucket seats would look best with that car.
Old school bucket seats!
I like the bucket seats myself.
Very cool build . Nice 👍
Mike
There were some racing buckets that MPC put in their street machine kits that feel like the perfect fit for this build.
Looking good, nice update Matthew!! 👍🙂
Beautiful build, Matt. I think I'd go with the bucket. I really like the look of painting the tires.
I'd go with the vintage style seats myself. Growing up in the 1960s/1970s, I prefer those era styles. 😎👍

That Dodge is looking amazing!

Thanks Clifton!!
The vintage buckets look really good.
I like model car very much.
👍🏻👍🏻
I like the car and I like the vintage seat. Enjoy your canning, we just finished ours.
Love boiled peanuts! Also love pouring peanuts in my Pepsi! That Dodge is looking really nice!
The seats should reflect the interior. The bucket seats is a good choice with seatbelts. I love the body colour.
Looking Good very nice
Thanks Edward!
The body looks so good I would be scared to touch it
Lol! Thanks
I think the Sparkos would be fine in her. Love the Monza!!!! I've used masking tape painted with flat black and electric tape for belts. Seem is on the bottom of the harmonic balancer. Hope that helps? I'll be watching

Comin along nicely
Thanks Butch!
If you're looking for a street setup , the old school buckets should be fine . if you are up to present day go for the Sparcos . looks great so far.👍😎
Also ,O -rings will work for your belt. Just got to get a thin one.
Thanks!
Awesome progress on that 64 dodge. Digging the color. I usually use the stock bench seat, but thought about using the buckets from a lindberg little red wagon/a-100. those were the go to buckets for them factory superstockers and a/fx'ers.
Matt Testors Transparent Red Spray Paint Decanted & Added to 5 Minute Epoxy is What I use to Make Nice Taillights
Cool!
If you have some fiberglass style drag racing seats would be cool I think
👍🏻👍🏻

Stock buckets brother 😊
The bench would be good for a stock build.
The Vintage seat would be good if it didn't have roll bars.
So I say go with the sparco seats 💺
Very very deep and beautiful color , it's perfect for that body
The engine looks great too .
I love peanuts I have a trail of shells on the ground when I be here at work 😅😅😅😅great video

Oh and regarding the seats. I like the vintage seats… there’s my 2 pennies. 😅
👍🏻👍🏻
Nice 65 Plymouth belvedere
Thanks Doug!
Great update nice engine 👍🏿
Looking awesome. I might be getting some of your products for my usacc build but I can't make up my mind. Thanks Matthew
That trim really pops against that color, glad you did it. I'd go for the vintage seat, the Sparcos seem too modern for the rest of the package to me. Its an awesome build!
👍🏻👍🏻
Sparco seats would be great for a newer build. They really sit right in a 1/1 scale car. The Monza could be a great build with attention to details. Hope you build it.
I think I like the traditional vintage seat. The modern racing seat feels a little out of place to me. And NOT the bench seat! Peace and love.
I like the vintage seat but the back looks a little high. All in all it's a beautiful build!
Put a bench seat up front. That will get attention.
Nice 😎😁
I like to traditional seats.
Looking good! I would look for vintage drag racing seats myself, because of the roll bar, otherwise the old school bucket seats? Can you install engine and put body over the chassis with header clearance ?
The vintage bucket seat looks better.
The vintage fast back bucket with lap belts or etc. The Sparco seats always look cheesy unless in modern cars. I also seen street machines and muscle cars with aluminum race seats. These suggestions are from the real life cars i get to be around.
Hey, love your printed parts, bought quite a few, but it seems the tunnel ram intake is quite under scale? Otherwise, awsome stuff!
Matt Serms Like It's Tight Budget Street Machine So Bench Seat would be Quite Likely Walt
👍🏻👍🏻

I think you should go with the vintage buckets all the way. The newer buckets just don't fit the vibe of the car.

From this Yankee love them but the salt wow I watch the blood pressure rase former brother law from Alabama introduced me too them
Stick with the vintage seat. The other seat belongs in a car like a Supra
Get rid of the seats use a milk crate.
Buckets but not Sparco.
👍🏻👍🏻
But yet you opened it again over your latest bodywork🤔
But I was careful
Bro, anything with roll cage BUCKET SEATS!!!
👍🏻👍🏻
