One of my all-time favorite albums. So glad this has been re-released. Now, please press Solid Ether on vinyl!

I just discovered "Khmer" and "WOW!" what a remarkable piece of music. I just purchased some new stereo gear and the holographic effects from playing this recordings were stunning. Apparently good stereo gear is MUCH happier when you play great music through it. Excellent interview. HUGE ECM fan. Cheers!

One of my most beloved musicians. I’ve had the opportunity to listen to him live at Torino Jazz Festival. His two albums on ECM label are milestones in contemporary jazz history

      I agree.
Khmer and Solid Ether are very unique.

Even today Khmer sounds like the future of music a very forward thinker Molvaer. He and Hassell are pioneers not only in their instruments but where they take the listeners...

Wish he would have worked with Leonard Bernstein.
They were so far from center and brilliant innovators.
