I can confirm the Grotti is the new fastest car in the game, acceleration like the zentorno but faster by 4 mph compared to the adder. obviously this is GTA speed. so its 122mph vs 127mph

I'm currently using the Zentorno a lot. It's not the best, but still a really amazing car. And it's actually quite affordable as well (700.000 or something like that).
***** Yeah exactly. I prefer a higher acceleration over top speed, especially when driving in the city. Handling can also make a huge difference. Actually, top speed is only really usefull when driving on the long highways.
Honestly, this system of "These are your upgrades, none of them pose any negative effects and there is only one upgrade path" could have been made much better, like upgrades that increased acceleration more but decreased top speed, the reverse of that, and armor making you overall slower.
I've been using the Sultan very recently because of a few reasons. 1) Rally driving Rallying has to be the Motorsport that is cool to look at and very difficult to do yourself, even in video games and especially if you don't have pace notes. As such, I have really been getting into rallying so much that I have also pulled a few rallies off the Rockstar Social Club and wrote pace notes. 2) Legacy It has a livery that is supposed to emulate the iconic Subaru World Rally livery. The team got their first championship victory with the late Scottish rally superstar, Colin McRae, the man who inspired a whole new generation of rally drivers.
Feels so odd. Remember watching these guys through pre-PC GTA era. And now when it's released on PC, not only do I outrank all of them, I also know that you can own 5 properties and not 4. Damn I've been nerding this game a lot. I also know that the Adder never was the fastest car in the game, as it was beaten by the Z-type, which still, fully upgraded has a higher top speed then both the X80 Proto and the Banshee 900R. But of course a much worse acceleration, handling etc.

they provide downforce as the car goes faster, which is why most racecars have a spoiler. This allows for better handling around the track.
