Yeah, I thought about making the barrel removable, but I didn't want to file anything down, I like to keep the mods non-destructive when possible! If I really want it off I will unscrew everything ha.
Sometimes the most valuable thing a mod guide provides is convincing me out of trying in the first place. This video is a winner in that regard. Thanks! FYI, if you saw off the barrel (which I did because I'm essentially ruining my blaster by turning it into something more AR than SR), the inner tube is a perfect friction fit over an N-strike attachment. So now my other blasters can be a goofy Barrett .50 cal, instead of the thing that's already that off the shelf. It's one of my favorite things about this hobby. If a blaster comes with a stock, we'll saw it off See: Rival Saturn. If a blaster is released without a stock, we'll find a way to put one on. See: Rival Forerunner.
This is my dream for people to say this haha. I’m so glad! I’m not super experienced myself, I stumble a lot along the way but I’m glad it helped! I know some people don’t like spring doubling but it worked well in this, and I couldn’t get anything heavier to catch so… :)
Just as an update I recently got a Rival Pilot and I upgraded the spring so it was laying in front of me when I took out my stock spring and it was PERFECT…mega darts at Rival speed is great especially bc I left all the locks and it’s great everything works like stock

Love how thorough you were, I do feel like you over complicated explaining some parts, and didn't mention the size of the spring (I'm sitting at my hardware store after just buying this gun hoping to know what type of spring would help) but overall helpful though. So thank you for taking the time to help us have more powerful Nerf guns, can't wait to shoot my gf!

Hmm, I thought I mentioned, the spring I tried that was too heavy was a spring for the rush 40 from out of darts, what I eventually did was double up a stock spring with a takedown spring I stole from my rival take down. Good luck, and I’m working to make every video better for sure!

So I more meant the measurement and strength of the spring. Do you have any tips for the thing at the front that stops the dart from just flopping out the front if it doesn’t feed normally? Mine’s completely loose, but still has the spring.
I can pull back and cock my SR but the trigger is dead. I see a little hook on the end of the trigger and I have no idea where it should go and what's going on... EDIT A YEAR LATER. I got it fixed but the clip release is still not working, so back to this video. Very informative.
It’s been awhile but I would guess something is missing or upside down? That book would release the “catch” that lets the spring go forward. I’d recommend going slow and seeing if you can figure out where they all connect. Try looking at some photos online of the internals! Hope this helps a little!
I get that. I hear a Magnus upgrade spring can work as well. I tried K25 and it was just too much for the blaster. It kinda jammed up funny trying to prime or operate it.
I think too beefy, to much force really seemed to caused problems with the trigger and catch release. I have some K26 ordered and I’ll try some when I do, I’ll just need to cut it.
Got another one, so I had to watch this again lol....pretty sure i used just an Ultra 4 spring and am getting low 80s really consistently..I'm pretty sure your buddy was using regular Mega darts. I like to just run Accustrikes but of course i have a bunch of regular ones that are always contaminating the Accu bin so id loaded up 2 in a 10 dart mag and guess which ones were hitting at 113,117,112(had one in a tyrant? mag)...meanwhile mega accustrikes are a creepily consistent 82-83..say 7or8 out of 10...thanks again for the video.. i forgot about the one in the trigger&mag release cage.
I love mega accustrikes but I only have like, 8 of them now? I have an ultra 2 converted to Mega but it only likes those ones because of the crush. Whoa, those are some fast numbers at first there for MEGA! Ultra 4 spring is a good idea, I have a bunch of those. Shouldn’t have sacrificed a Takedown lol.

my suggestion is get a range where you can plink with it. Someone like myself can better decide to do this mod seeing firing footage

I usually dislike the Fortnite Blasters but this one I am interested in. An actual better SR compared to the Centurion. 🤣
So yes and no! It works better, but I still think the long prime on the centurion and the “recoil” is really cool!

How do you take the barrel off?
You can take out all the screws in the barrel! :)
Question, mine doesn't shoot well anymore! Shoots at a maximum of 1/2 metres! Sometimes the inside shot gets stuck! What should I do ?
Are the darts in really bad shape? That can do it. Or, are there remnants of darts stuck inside? Otherwise it could be a cracked plunger tube
