Bang Yedam has a long way to go when it comes to singing (on pitch. especially with this song), but he does have a lot of potential. What the judges love about him is his stage presence as an entertainer - he's gonna be one heck of a talented entertainer one day (there's a difference between being an entertainer and a singer). At first I wasn't crazy about him as a contestant, but more and more I've been realizing his incredible potential, and that's what the judges/companies are looking for.

People forget that Kpop Star is all about potential. They pick contestants that shows potential and can improve through training. They don't just pick those that can already sing. They can train Yedam once he's good enough to debut and especially when he's going through puberty.
I'm someone who think this kid is very talented. But honestly, there are people who deserve to be on Top 5 than him. People says he's improving. Yes, he is. But not enough for the competition.
i still think Mckay performance of this song is better even tho the judges thought it was boring. at least his voice is much more fuller. not hating on yedam. i love him. his baby performance was still the best for me.
& just because he doesn't have the best voice, it doesn't mean that he can't SING. He's still a kid and haven't gone through puberty, I'm pretty sure hen he hits that stage he'll be amazing.
