Hi guys. Nice out and about cafe breakfast baps and cappuccinos 🤤 A reasonably quite atmosphere always makes food more enjoyable. I have a pommy mate who likes jellied eel. I'm not so fond of it, but I do enjoy smoked eel. Excuse me for asking, but have I missed something here. Nat needs the assistance of a scooter? Another fine review today. Cheers Keith and Nat 👍😀
@@oldfoodguy O ok thanks for that. I feel for her as I too cannot walk any long distances. She's fortunate to have you to look after her, good and bad days 👍😀
@@davidgomm6043 they are an East London food.....the majority of us were fed them stewed with mashed potato with pie and mash liquor as babies, and as we got older were then given them as jellied eels
I'm from London an live in Florida now bruv an I can't get them you don't have to tell me the history of them my people are from south London an my nan made her own an south London had some of the oldest pie an mash shops in London
Nice little vlog guys, the sandwiches look very tasty! Yess on the jellied eels Keith, the idea is the eat the eel meat abit warm and make a liquor out of the jelly with parsley and flour, seve your eels and liquor eith a meat pie n mash potatoes and chilli vinegar yummm x
The buildings in the background look so lovely! Yea that breakfast looks a zillion times better than aulde Greggs. I might get an early night so I can pick up a nice breakfast like this (hopefully) in transit tomorrow, as I'm off to an event in the next country (in the Republic of Ireland). One thing that is good all over Ireland is the breakfasts out, so fresh and flavourful, even in cheapy spots like Centra or Eurospar. Makes me realise how lame the likes of Greggs really was (am still a sucker for Wetherspoons breakfast though. Unlimited coffee and halloumi as a potential side? Can't argue with that!)
The cappuccino looked lovely, always nice to find a place where the food, and coffee, is good! I get the sneaking suspicion Nat won't like the jellied eels!! Neither would I!!!! 😱
Should put this stuff in the three called slime.. Ave got it in my bike tyres if you get a puncture it deals itself up straight away..I've used it in all my motors too matey.. Halfords do it and it guaranteed for 2 years a think keith...
I still eat jellied eels being from the east end of London, but I guess its an acquired taste, as for the teeth dont worry lol mine didn't look much better until I spent 5k in Turkey getting then sorted.
Jellied eels, bit of spit and saw dust! Lichfield is good. I'm in Tipton tomorrow visiting a friend around lunch. Can you recommend a chippy? Not a seafood man so anywhere with decent Donner and chips will be good
Lovely couple when I first watched a video I thought she was your daughter, till you mentioned on a comment ,she's beautiful, lovely couple.and I enjoyed your video xx
@@oldfoodguy its abit unusual, nothing like the dodgy tin sustromming. Its actually preserved well with abit of onion, they are nice with abit of cheese, pickles and crusty bread.
Were the sausages in Nat's bap good quality? Hopefully not the really cheap ones. Keith's bacon and egg bap looked great. But the jellied eels are a no-no for me. They look most unappetising.
Hi Keith & Nat . I’m disabled mobility scooter user as well . This puncture problems you r having if you go onto ebay and buy puncture safe amazing stuff stays in the tyre for the life of your tyre .as long as your tyre is tubeless .hope it helps thanks rich.
