I think this is too much for Girls' Generation now. This song is one of the, if not the most dynamic choreography for any girl group to this day and I'm just talking about the original. This remix just 'amped' it up 10x more. The song is a bit vocally challenging just by itself especially for the two main vocalists. Not only do they sing the high notes but in most of GG songs including this, they lead the chorus (they have to sing the loudest which is why chorus sounds mostly their voices blending), do the adlibs and harmonise. If the main vocalists are struggling for their breath then so will leads and the rest of the girls. Out of all of them, it'd be the main vocalists and then the leads who'd be trained to continue singing well while dancing. Also, not to point out their age, I don't think they can physically give the same energy they did in their early 20's. Stamina isn't going to be the same after 10 years especially if you're an idol who's been battered up by years of endless practice, dancing and performing. I think the 2013 ITNW world tour performance they did where the main and vocalists sang in acapella would be better for them. This video is enough proof that to this day, only a select few could ever dance and perform as well as SNSD did during their debut era.

Damn.. Snsd's rehearsal can be a perfect performance already... Not hating on other groups but its hard to see girl groups now adays that dances so powerful and giving it their all.. Without lipsynching.. And its hard to see girl groups now adays That gives their all even when its just a rehearsal.. Nowadays Girl Group dances are sometimes easy or too matured.. I want a dance that shows their efforts and passion just like this.. (I still love new gens Girl group tho)
It's because SNSD had something to prove back then, they were put in an industry that were biased towards male artist, so seeing a girl group be so successful was taboo, this bringing a lot of hate. They had to prove they were just as good as the boy groups and they were. Now they're legends
