The reason why BOW Players hate USS Sangamon its because she is a easy target of enemy battleships, small aviation fleet, minor damage to torpedoes but not bomb, enemy destroyer torpedoes because she can't dodge when gets close, and worst of all when it comes enemy aircraft carrier dive bombers. But when there skilled aircraft carrier players, it's a bit chance they can carry allied warships to push the enemy fleet, so it is easy to pick bigger aircraft carriers except USS Sangamon, like you agree.
