She tricked him into killing her parents then turned on him to have him also..my guess is that she had a secret lover whom the parents didn't approve of so in order to be with her secret lover she had to find a way to get rid of her parents without her actually doing it herself plus get the poor guy (who fell in her trap) killed thus leaving her scotchfree to runoff with her lover....
