The scare at 14:11 is probably my favorite from any scary movie. It was the least expected and always gets me😂 1. It's broad daylight, when the ghosts rarely show up in scary movies 2. The "skeptical husband" trope usually makes it so the scary stuff never happens when he's around or any 3rd party is around.. usually only the "final girl" sees stuff until it's too late 3. That face. Just plain terrifying 😅Pop-up jump scare or even stillshot: it's just so creepy
I have never cried from fear watching a film, but when I saw this at the cinema, I had tears streaming down my face. The part where she is outside and looks through the window to see the little boy dancing made me freeze up in fright, because he looks just like the imaginary friend I had when I was a child. I once drew a picture of him for my Mum, showing him how he was dressed. Exactly like him.
KEEP WATCHING! Part 2 starts right where 1 ended with the same family. Part 3 - Prequel on Elise Part 4 - Another prequel on Elise but right before the events of 1, which kind of start those events. Part 5 comes out July of this year with the same family in 1 and 2 just 10 years older =)
"I don't like when he walks around at night". 🙃 Also 8:50 is one of the best jump scares ever. The music sting doesn't kick in until the millisecond you notice the demon in the window.
I'm happy to know someone else's brain cleanser after a horror movie is Bob's Burgers. 😅 I loved the "Vogue" you subtly put in. And also, "Piglet, nooooo!" 😂
14:11 I was waiting for this one moment out the whole video. I knew you would flip out!! When I first saw this movie I thought wow that's interesting. The way he is so unaware of the thing over his shoulder but the mom sees it. That shot is so cool. I love that you went to get Milo and shut the door after that scene.
Also when the mum is talking about her dream, the build up to the jump scare is so well done, her voice gives me chills it’s so eerie sounding. She killed it, she would be a great ghost story teller at a campfire 🤣
I've never seen you so anxious before. I'm laughing but also a bit worried at the same time It's such a freaky movie and the ending 👌 Oh my god, it's Zzavid ✨
The fact you put zzavid in this made this even better😂😂❤ this is my all time favorite horror. And you two are my fav reactors. I’d def recommend the second one
I’ve seen a lot of horror movies, old, new, found footage, creature feature you name it. I honestly think the scene were the mother mindlessly walks into the room with the figure barely visible through the white sheet is one of the most chilling scenes of all time. The first time I saw it I literally got a sharp tingle down my spine.
That "Big Scare" actually had me checking the dark hallways for a week. First time for a long time and Never since did a horror scene get to me like that. 💀😱
I saw this in a full Manhattan theater and people were screaming and losing their popcorn after jump scares, it was so good. Part 2 is a must to continue with these characters lol
What’s great about Rose Byrne is she can also do comedy really, really good. You probably already saw Brides Maids (if not you should), and she’s also in several other comedies. I’m interviews she’s a natural comedian.
Perfect episode! I forget how effective Insidious' scares are throughout. That man standing in the room with the baby scared the shit outta me in theaters!! Do you have a rating out of 5 for it?
1:37 The music is intense. If skin crawling and spine chilling were able to make a sound this is what it would sound like. If that makes any sense. LMAO!!
You’re already a pretty tall guy, Alex. How much more are you wanting to grow? Also, that’s a really nice home protection weapon you got there 😂. PIGLETT NOOO!! 🤣🤣🤣
That's not foreshadowing. That's Billy the puppet from Saw. James Wan (this movie's director) and Leigh Wennel (Specs) worked together and made Saw before this
This is the perfect scary movie :D. DUDE you HAVE to see the rest of the series (the new one opens up in theaters this summer :D). Rose Byrne is AMAZING in these too. In fact, I'm going to do an Insidious Marathon this week.
I consider myself fairly desensitized to horror, especially mainstream horror, but something about this movie scares the shit out of me every time I watch it.
i remember going to see this in theaters not long after coming home from winning a free trip to the red carpet premiere to the conjuring in hollywood and during the whole movie i was like wtf is wrong with u james wan lol
the red guy face is definitely the most famous but i think that guy behind the curtain at 8:50 is somehow more unsettling. that moment of silence before it clicks is just really effective.
I thought it very funny when you said he does 'dead silence' so good, because that was one of the first feature lenght movies of James Wan :D Loved your reaction and love James Wan movies so so much!!
your reaction is so relatable 😭 especially when you screamed at the demon appearing behind the dad, i looked away bc i knew it was coming but then when you paused it with the demon behind him, i had the same exactly reaction except when i screamed nothing came out but my heart came out of my chest 💀
Hello. Oh my God, thank you for your reaction, it's a horror movie, but now I almost died of laughter😂 Especially on 10:58-11:23 and 14:10-14:48 .It's just hilarious🤣 If you haven't watched yet, please, react on Gothika,2003, Winchester: The house that ghosts built, 2018, The black phone, 2021, What lies beneath, 2000, The Cell,2000. It would be great to see your reaction to them. Thanks))
Dalton was not dead, I thought he was the first person to get killed but it's just the possession that is controlling the kid. But the the Old Woman, Elise was the first kill who got killed by rob/ the dad/ the husband by a neck strangling. I thought it was a neck snapped. But I want to see what happens to rob in the sequel, Insidious chapter 2...
3:28 Yeah his style is interesting. I know his Australian, but he's chinese and Malaysian and his movies reflect his love for asian cinema. The unique take on ghosts in asia is so good. A lot of the jump scares here remind me of a scares I've seen in most asian movies. So Pugg if you find Insidious terrifying you may never want to watch Asian horror/ghost movies. 😂!!! But they're so good and so different from the usual jump scares I've seen. For example the Darth Maul peeking over Patrick Wilson's shoulder. 🤣!! That was such an interesting scare. As I watched asian ghost stories these interesting shots became more and more familiar. Here's an excerpt of James Wan interview “I have been lucky to have been exposed to great Asian cinemas and supernatural stories from around the world. I would say even if they don't outright inspire me from the get go, Asian stories will always be at the back of my mind.”Sep 23, 2021
Hes born in Australia but his heritage/genetic culture is different. People forget the difference. You can be British born Chinese but remember your family started and pass it down
Was not expecting a Zzavid-high-on-edibles cameo but that just made this reaction better. My fav part was you screaming and literally scrambling away at the sight of that red demon thing and coming back with your cat for comfort lol
"Im never going to watch this again!" HONESTLY SAME, I watched this movie one time and I covered my eyes the whole time. I never watched it again and I havent watched the other installements since lmao and Im a big ass 28 year old dude! This movies soundtrack, acting, jumpscares are all just so jarring and impactful. Great movie tho 😅😅
A heart rate monitor would be a GREAT idea! Especially for Halloween. Also try done movies I. Half light/ night light. ( not night vision.) Crawlspace (1986), Darkness Falls (2003).
when he saw the little boy ghost in the corner n said 'that's a little dude' 😆 EDIT) when he went out n came back with a cat n shut the door lol i'm in fits, first time i seen the guys reactions, that made me subscribe lol hes too funny, i saw this in cinema, that bit the entire cinema jumped, popcorn flying it was chaos lollll 29:01 🤣🤣🤣 i'm this got me on a giggle fit this whole video
That baby monitor scene shit me up so bad when I saw this in cinema 🤣 the old lady I can’t handle either, the red face demon scared me at first but by the end he wasn’t so bad. The smiling family are pretty terrifying too
Back in the day with old time film cameras lots of strange things could occur in pictures like double exposures and one image ends up on another. So if there was an anomaly in one of your pictures you did not automatically jump to a paranormal cause.
You're anxious about the movie halls while filming a hallway behind yourself. THATS giving me anxiety 😂
Seriously i couldn't focus i was constantly looking at the hall waiting 😂😂
@@knitwitchpgh I half expected his wife to come talk to him about something and scare him half to death.
Frr I kept looking in the hallway

He and the on-screen actress jumped up from their seats at the same time. 😂
His reaction was the same as mine when I first saw this movie when that demon showed up I almost fell off my chair.
If they didn’t show that in the original trailer I would be scared too 😭
I knew that scene wouldn't disappoint..but didn't expect it to be that good of a scare I literally can't stop replaying that part 😂😂
That scared tf out of me during my first watch
This is the movie that first made me realize that horror hits differently after you've had kids...
Absolutely right it does.
@@Puggapillar In that case I suggest you don't watch the new boogeyman movie.
@Puggapillar omg I'm your biggest fan I hope to meet you in person one day

that scare at 14:11 is memorable lol, I'm glad you brought the cat in for protection.
The Ned Flanders' scream.
