Very clever breakaway system, your whole set of EICMA videos have been brilliant, I feel I have seen a good part of the what interests me via yours videos. Any chance of a Quick Look at the Chigee stand as they are showing their six inch version of the AO5-Lite? which I guess will be called the AO6-Lite.
Why does it have to be a consumable plastic part? Same thing can be achieved indestructive? Its this the new way to put the luggage into a monthly payment plan ?
That's a question for the product designers. Do you think this creates more or less waste than pulling the strap off a bag? I expect they have looked into that, but came up with this design for a reason.
You get a set with them. The ones in the video are 3D printed, so that they can be demonstrated by hand. I can open a tricky jar of pickles if I have to, but a 200kg breaking force is a bit much. Even for me. The real ones are much tougher.
Σиduгistaи (Sidugistai) should sell single bags - not pairs. For some reason many motorcycle manufacturers raise the exhaust pipe on one side of the bike unnecessarily high. I need a full size bag on the side without the exhaust and a "crippled" Blizzard bag on the exhaust side. I got the old Blizzard XL bags. I only use the one on the right side. On the left side of the bike I have a full size bag. I feel I wasted money on the one bag that I'l never use. So far the bag has worked fine. What do I do with the other bag? Throw it in the bin?
I don't think they would work as single bags. They are designed for enduro style bikes and need one on each side for balance. What bike do you use your XL's on? I have a set of XL's that I use on my CRF300 Rally, and I use a heat shield on the exhaust to stop the bag melting. So far it's worked just fine.
Clever emergency release. With regards to the top flap, because it doesn't lip over the sides, doesn't it mean that water can pool on the top (under the flap) as you ride along?
Σиduгistaи is a mixture of Greek, Russian and Latin letters. Σиduгistaи is written Sidugistai using the modern form of the Latin alphabet and the English alphabet. Sidugistai used to declare the total volume of the bags. The original XL Blizzard bags labeled 34 liter were 2x17 liter and the small ones labeled 12 liter were 2x6 liter. Please explain the volume of the new ones. Are you declaring the volume of a single bag or the total volume of two bags?

I wish. They emailed me yesterday about trying the AO5. I won't be going back until next year I'm afraid.
@@PeakMotorcycles Thanks for replying, really enjoyed all your videos. That must have been a lot of work.

Thanks Andre! Quality components & design. A clever breakaway design indeed. I'm certain those replacement plastic parts aren't too expensive?

Damm those 15 litres are fine 👌
I thought the old ones were fine… but this is quite an upgrade.
Nice upgrade. Pity I already bought a system. Happy travelling, Günter/Nürnberg
Yup. Me too!
0:45 at last they realized that we need shapes suitable for our light adv bikes....
I think they are the same shape as the Blizzard 1’s for that very reason.

Great safety feature
I think so.
Thanks 🥹 I have them on my 390 Adventure 👍
The new ones? Nice one!

Sounds like it might, though it is waterproof. I’ll probably get some and try them. It will rain. It always does 🤣

Hi, I haven't seen the final specs, but I believe the numbers are per 2 bags. So the 35's are 2 x 17.5, 25 are 2 x 12.5 and the 15 are 2 x 7.5.
You should check out Merlin they’re a British brand that do awesome clothing highly recommend them
I know them well.
Good quality luggage. Nick
It is, or was, but these changes all seem like improvements. The zip pocket and the flat lid is great.
The break away sux so much it’s laughable 👍😂
How would you do it?
