- Diplomatic efforts to reach a ceasefire deal between Israel and Hamas are increasing.
A Hamas delegation is in Cairo to meet mediators from Egypt and Qatar. CIA director, William Burns, is also there. The Israelis have yet to send their delegation and it's not clear when that will happen. Sticking points remain, as Hamas demands Israel ends the war in Gaza permanently. That's something Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's government is refusing to do.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is under mounting pressure, with thousands gathering in Tel Aviv to attend what’s become a weekly protest against the government’s handling of the war.
The protesters are calling for Netanyahu to sign a deal with Hamas and return the Israeli captives held in Gaza.
“Bibi, we call you to reach a ceasefire deal which secures the release of all hostages,” Danny Elgar, the brother of Israeli captive Yitzhak Elgar, said at the protest.
“You are taking more time so you and [National Security Minister] Ben Gvir can stay in power. You are taking more time so you will stay in power. You don’t care about the 133 or 132 hostages. An operation in Rafah will cause the death of the hostages. You don’t have mandate to kill 132 citizens of Israel.”

The Israeli governments handline handling of the whole situation could have been totally avoidable, Hama's could have been brought to justice in time once the release of the Israeli hostage's was secured then the innocent Palestinians could have been filtered back into a new area outside Gaza in a controlled basis, the bombing by the Israeli government doesn't come cheap for anyone both in human lives and rebuilding the lives out of the rubble caused by an endless supply of weapons that make countries lot's of money by selling them because they are being used without any mercy .😔
Those who support the massacre of Palestinian civilians are people who have lost their conscience and concern for their fellow human beings. They have no compassion for the people who are suffering in Palestine, and they only think of political interests and power. What if they themselves were in a Palestinian position, feeling unimaginable fear and despair? Maybe it's only then that they realize how cruel the action they're supporting is.
We must continue to condemn the cruelty of Israel and give full support for justice to the continuing suffering of the Palestinian people. We can't be silent and let evil go on forever. Let us unite in the struggle to defend human rights and provide protection for the helpless. May one day justice be realized and peace replace the continuing atrocities in Palestine.
