Just got the TK colorway for my son who has a wide forefoot. He really likes they way they fit. As mentioned, the shoe is a little heavy compared to the 442 or Tiempo 9. If anyone is wondering, the foldover tongue and strap weighs 10g in a size 7US.
@@RegenTonnenEnte K-leather is banned in my state and the gloro fit my foot shape better than the premier. I even use them more than my MIJ Alpha and Pred 24 Elite lmao.
There's something about cheaper boots. After you've worn elite versions you don't really want to step down, but credit to Adidas here for have that much leather on a boot that cheap. Looks 100 times better than the Nike Premier with its pathetic fold over tongue. At this price point though, I'd opt for the Morelia 2 pros or Morelia 4 pros.
Hell yeah I’m definitely gonna check these out and just a tip for anyone that’s a fan of Nike boots if you have a Nike clearance store by you I would definitely recommend giving it a trip I usually go every week and I’m now the proud owner of a 10 boot collection😂 all top end model elites and at an amazing price most of my boots end up costing $70 for elite models and if you guys wanna see my collections just let me know 👍🏽
Ordered a pair of these and pair of Premiers to try both. I prefer the look of the Gloro’s and the quality seems a touch higher but the premiers are much more comfortable out of the box. The gloros are a bit tight in the mid and forefoot area. Will they stretch out and become more comfortable or should I just stick with the premiers?
Already got mine in the 'Predator' colourway, not had chance to try them yet but now I'm excited... Got them in the same size as my UK9.5 Tiempos but I think the US size is down a half FYI. Hopefully they last a decent time on AG, the soleplate does seem to come up the toe enough to resist premature wear.
Have you tried the turf version? I'm afraid that the tongue is too bulky there and even if you remove, there's the velcro remnants on the base that's hard, bulky and slippery at the same time.
I hope this is better than the previous gen copa gloro. While I enjoyed those boots at times my issue was heel slippage whenever it got sweaty within the boots as well as how the insole would shift and move around whenever there’s hard lateral movement. Big up to adidas for this gen I will say it looks good.
I love the look and I really like the idea of these. However I've gotten really used to lightweight boots so the idea of something kind of weighty isn't quite there for me...
Hi Josh, I'm looking for a pair of ag football boots and have settled on either the mizuno morelia 2 pro or the neo 4 pros. I like the full leather on the 2s which are so comfortable but prefer the more locked in feeling of the 4s. Which one would you recommend for a footballer who plays on ag twice a week (thinking about durability also). Is there much difference in ball feel between the two? Would mean a lot if i could get a response
also did you compare it with the premier 3 with k leather or the cow leather? since there was a switch but can’t remember the colorway that was the first with the switch from k leather o the recent one
Josh you gotta be more honest… I just got these in and they fit 0.5 to a full size long out of the box. I’m pretty disappointed with these. The three stripes should be giving us a standard length across product lines. I appreciate your review as always but tell the people they fit long out of the box.
11:05 He does suggest to go down half a size down if you currently have a bit of extra room on your shoes currently. So technically yeah he suggested to go down half a size if you want no space on your cleats.
Does anyone know where I can sell an old pair of mizuno rebula 2s mij? I bought them and they didnt fit me, I waited too long to return them and have been stuck with them for years. Weird random place to ask but... it's on my mind lol
They are... my feet big asf but they fit me well with no pain or pressure point on my first try ! I'm still surprised that I didn't had break time like my first pair of Gloro 1, I thinks it's cause of the new leather they used it's softer and less rigid
Hey Josh, would you go with these or the New Balance 442 v2 Pro? I tried my buddy’s 442 on and they were unbelievably comfortable and fit like a glove. Only problem is I can’t find the 442s anywhere online.
442 is still arguably the better overall boot, especially if you prefer a lighter overall feel, but it’s also more expensive. If you’ve tried them and really like them, they’re an excellent choice
How's the fit? I could not find a 442 to try on but the copa gloro was extremely comfortable, it was a perfect fit for me. Would love to see if I could blindly order a 442 instead because I hate the tongue especially on turf where the tongue is fixed with velcro which has a slippery, bulky element that cannot be removed.
I judge the gloros on one thing; Do they look more like Copa Mundials or do they look more like Golettos. These fall into the Goletto category for me 🙁 pity because they sound pretty good. Premier still undefeated 🫡
Oh please, Jenga.. the Midfoot isn't synthetic to prevent overstretching it's to cut costs. Manufacturers have found so many effective methods to ensure lockdown in leather football boots.. as if adidas couldn't manage it if they just wanted.
I love how they launched these in a Toni Kroos colorway, a predator colorway, and a blackout colorway
Toni. Please.
There's actually an all red and SEVERAL black colorways (black/white, black/grey, black/red).

For added context it’s mainly across the top of the forefoot where they feel tight, I think the forefoot of the premiers is slightly deeper?
Grass stains on the sole .You still do play tests or buy em used ?
I have a 45 foot and Adidas only offers a size 45 1/3, is that still ok?
