Learn to make: meatloaf, lasagna (with the noodles you don’t have to boil beforehand), a whole chicken, a whole turkey! Making just those things (especially in the winter) made my husband SO happy! He didn’t care that we had 5 minute stuffing or rice, mac n cheese, frozen mashed potatoes as a side! The fact the main dish was homemade was a huge deal!!

I buy Pierogi from my local Polish shop and they're delicious. In Austria (my family are over there) they have very similar. called Kasnudeln in the Southern part of Austria. Pierogis are one of my favorites! I buy them from the grocery store(I'm in the Chicago Suburbs). My favorite brand is Mrs. T's. I also made some from scratch for a first time recently and they came out great! Congratulations on making them from scratch as well! They look absolutely delicious!
