why would you think Cam should win? All he does is shoot set shot 3s and weak drives. Weak defense. Chris is way more physical, a better shooter (yeah better, he can shoot on the moves and off of quick hesitations etc, cam cannot), and can post up. Better defender too, mainly because he's a lot quicker, and seems to have better instincts for the game. Also, about the same height, so he negates cams usual height advantage. Cam played one of his best games here, that's why it was close, avergae performances a piece, White wins it nearly every time.

exactly. thats why i don't like mismatch matchups on any level. if someone smaller is guarding someone bigger, and that bigger person favors going to the rack (like Cris) the smaller person usually tends to have to use more force and strength in order to make up for the size difference when guarding them. and it either looks like a foul, or it is a foul...there's never an in between. and a lot of people's reasoning for why the bigger player can't complain is BECAUSE they're bigger and, like you said, are seemingly supposed to "play through that". on some level it makes sense yet at the same time it absolutely doesn't. contact is contact for any and everyone. playing through it takes skill, finesse, and body control. strength and size isn't what it takes. realistically these commenters don't hoop so they wouldn't understand, but even a lot of hoopers don't get it either so idk
