the signs are promising..... we can't help who we have played so far but once we've put the so called better teams to the sword what will they come up with next 🤣 (edit) maybe its not over for liverpool afterall #lifesafterklopp 🤪
Slot has impressed me so much in the first 10 games. The main issues I’ve had with Liverpool tactically over the past couple of years are things he’s nipped right in the bud. Whilst tougher tests are coming, cannot discredit what Slot’s done so far
i like that Arne said he wants to be remembered for more than just his first 10 games. Can only beat who you play. people forget that if not for ridiculous refs in home games against Arsenal and City we would have finished only 4pts behind city despite all the injuries we had. We know the team can improve and we normally play well against the better teams anyway,. don't forget we played Wednesday and we should have been out of sight in both the wolves and palace games. Some players have yet to hit their best form. It is nice not to be chasing games. Arne will now know what he wants to bring in, hopefully we will strengthen in January. Some exciting games to come, bring it on.
Slots done a great job, but in this next couple of months it could all fall apart if 2 of our midfielders get injured, we dont have the strength in depth when it comes to midfield
I think we have to credit the club and the players as a whole. Slot has certainly helped the development of the team and his own team also having his trust. We can say he certainly hasn't damaged the side by making unnecessary changes or bringing in his ex dutch players like those down the East Lancs road. The way the club is set up he can just focus on the team which is what I think is the secret. The infrastructure, the dealing with contracts, and all the secondary responsibility are left to other people. His decisions seem to be considered and more in line with the way the club is being run at the moment.
Slot is good and that's not based on the results, you need to have a little luck with that. He has been good at his previous clubs where he always performed above expectations. He improves players and therefore their market value. When he starts a new job he doesn't turn everything upside down with a raft of new players like so many other coaches.
So far so good. Hope Slot keeps up the good work. Glad to hear your stats about the goals issue. Previously I had mentioned my concerns about the low amount of goals we are getting but was slammed by others for it. The stats basically supports what I mentioned so hopefully Slot will be able to help the players increase the goals. A higher goal score is always helpful in the event a final position may boil down to goals.
I think it’s too early to tell. IF he has just been brought in as a ‘Coach’ I hope the transfer ‘committee’ are busy tying up deals with the likes of Adeyemi. Getting our house in order with Curly, Terry and Mo! Slot, has been a breath of fresh air and I don’t think he’s overtraining the lads, hence the lack of hamstring injuries. By Feb we’ll know by our progress if he’s as good as he has been. Thanks for the subject matter. YNWA
I'm gonna say. Bit of both. We've been good in parts, and the league doesn't lie, so atm. All good. Let's see around Xmas where we are. Ynwa... Ps... Has ALLY got a new injury.. Someone let me know plz. Thanks.
I think the only reasonable take is that - yes Liverpool have had relatively easier fixtures, but that doesn’t mean winning 9 out 10 is a given and it does show that Liverpool are in a good spot going into the schedule coming up. You cannot completely discredit the start Liverpool have had based on that. They say the Premier League is the most competitive league for a reason, yet fans of other clubs are just petty and try to stick to their stance that Slot would be a flop
If we just take player improvement alone, never mind how much he’s already tried to shore up defense, he’s impressed. Realizing what players fit what role and putting them there and encouraging their natural talents. The issues that will face this team no doubt in the season to come won’t have been his fault. We don’t have midfielders who can do the job our current starters are doing. we’re hanging on a thread wrt injuries. That’s not his fault. He got the squad he got. If contract drama messes with player motivation & cohesion-that’s also not his fault. As far as I can see Slot himself as manager is a top shelf one. As for how far Liverpool will go…I’m not expecting the sky to be honest. We’re 2-3 injuries away from another total collapse in February.
Don't y'think that our 'slopiness' is more obvious due to the style we're actually playing? Sloppy looks sloppy if it happens in a lot of short passes as a pose to loong ones. Strangely I feel that Mo has been one of the most culpable a lot of times where breaks down the right break down because he's not found his man on a short snappy pass? Anyway, apart from all the 'xG's' and 'x gooals against's' and that (which is beyond me entirely), nice one DL, as ever!! 👍👍👍
The boss has done great. Ok the teams but you can only play who in front of you. Yes hard games to come. We can cope. We have a good squad from Klopp. We were challenging not so long ago. Great stuff David. Walk on. Hate internationals
Final passes are gonna cost us if Slot doesn't sort it out, which I'm confident he will. Now Alli is out we MUST connect with our final passes and be ruthless with our finishing because I think we might start conceding more than with Alli between the sticks.
Slot has started off showing he has the acument to become a great manager for us. But he needs to be able to buy new players if needed. My concern is the transfer committee. Will we be able to conclude the 3 contract extensions positively? We are hearing about an impasse in negotiations. With the chances of one or more leaving on free transfers is that really good business for the club? What is the hold up????
Slot has done well last year i was saying we are conceding too many goals But we are scoring aswell we seemed to be more clinical at times Under Slot it has been swapped around conceding a lot less But missing more chances, we need to be more clinical in front of goal Frustrating but Thats Football Lets Go Reds YNWA
I have been to all the home games and am not convinced. West Ham was comprehensive but we were poor against Forest, not bad against Brentford but I think we were flattered by the Bournemouth score. We are starting slowly, 3 goals narrowly ruled out for offside against us early on, 3 goals against us early on scored. What does seem better is Gravenberch and we seem more clinical, although not against Palace. We would have expected all wins from these games let's be honest, MU away can be tricky but they're hopeless this season. Once 3 games a week, injuries and tougher teams arrive that will be the acid test. If we do win them then fair enough, credit will be due.
You say we were poor against Forest, but we battered them first half without scoring. I couldn't believe we weren't two or three up at HT then Forest sucker punched us. We MUST sort out our final passes and finishing. If we do, the Prem is ours imvho.
Quite good & quite lucky for me. Although, it's still so early & Slot & the players are still figuring it all out. Lots more potential & opportunity to improve yet. You can only beat who's in front of you & if you beat the "dross" (everyone worse than you) & you'll be there or thereabouts at the end.
Urghhhh the mentality of people is bugging me. "Do they deserve that, is it a lucky run? Is Alisson making some great saves and they're getting a bit fortunate in that?" WHY DO SO MANY PEOPLE SAY THIS????!!! Do you not all realise that Alisson pulling off good saves is PART OF WHY THE DEFENCE IS SO STRONG!!! That isn't "luck," that's a team with a great defence. That INCLUDES the keeper. People's attitudes are all wrong when it comes to this like.
Take each game as it comes depth of squad is good young ones are quality Bob started slow so we will see kllop left a new team in transition double that transition under a new manger not a bad start is it 😅
slot has said in many interviews we are doing well but we have only played certain a calibre of team let's see what happens when we play the top tier teams , and slot has said this many times so argue with him
Lucky & good.....but whether they are good enough to win a title we won't know until they meet a top side. I'm happy with Slot although I think it will take time for his system to get going at top speed. Some problems still exist : leaks at the back, and the lack of a top rate striker - Jota is more or less OK, but Nuñez ain't gonna cut it, I'm afraid. The midfield is shaping up and Macca and Gravenberch are looking top level, and there are Slobo, Jones and Elliott as back up. And these fcking international breaks that nobody wants aren't helping with developing any rhythm, neither for Liverpool nor anybody else.......
I swear to God we need to be able to keep a few players players from these utterly pointless international breaks, but I guess players want to play for country even if it’s a meaningless friendly.
Lucky. In life you need lots of luck in everything you do. But there is nothing you can do about it as it's from Heaven and Fate of the person's life. There is nothing about how clever a person is., just ask Ten Hag who inherited clowns while Slot inherited a near world class team.
What do you think? Is Arne Slot the real deal?
I think he's been over hyped to be honest.
Trust me he’s the real deal !
Greetings from Rotterdam ❤
the signs are promising..... we can't help who we have played so far but once we've put the so called better teams to the sword what will they come up with next 🤣 (edit) maybe its not over for liverpool afterall #lifesafterklopp 🤪
Promising signs David mate. Do you see us exploring the 6 market again in Jan with slot and Hughes having more time to acess?
We will find out after they have played Chavs & Cheats during the coming weeks . Need two midfield signings in January .
Slot has impressed me so much in the first 10 games. The main issues I’ve had with Liverpool tactically over the past couple of years are things he’s nipped right in the bud. Whilst tougher tests are coming, cannot discredit what Slot’s done so far
i like your takes on Liverpool, bring out more content if you can mate your class.
i like that Arne said he wants to be remembered for more than just his first 10 games. I want to say yes! But I will wait until January.... Don't want to get my hopes up, but he's doing a great job from what I can see...... Y.N.W.A
Slots done a great job, but in this next couple of months it could all fall apart if 2 of our midfielders get injured, we dont have the strength in depth when it comes to midfield
Not signing a badly needed midfielder during the Summer was thanks to tight fisted F S G .

with the amount of changes.. amazing so far.. if we are in the top four after new year.. truely an amazing job.. cheers 🍻

Yes, he'll be out for a bit. Hamstring if I'm not mistaken.

David u are legend. No journalist works as hard as u
Cautiously optimistic. Loving your work btw David
The best thing about the FSG Slot Machine is that he has been flexible tactically, adjusting to the game situations and opposition.

08:00 there it is again!!!! Cannot have a David Lynch video without the words "it is my understanding".. I think that is 7,142 in a row!! 😂😂😂
Thanks for the analysis
I think team will also keep on improving as games go. Slot has a very systematic view of things
If slot ca keep us in top Three in January, add a few quality players for midfield and up front, should get excited
So far so good ....I'm quietly confident 😊YNWA

I appreciate we've only played the lesser teams, but feel we play better against better teams anyway..
Sometimes… I feel we can absolutely do it against City & Chelsea, I do think we’ll lose at Arsenal
Urghhhh the mentality of people is bugging me.

Let's see after this load of games, then we would really see if he's(Slot) the real deal, YNWA

Not a good man can make his lucky to be Good.
Side topic but if we had a proper cdm last season I think we would’ve won the league
Slot is boss but naive he is running the first 11 to the ground & once a few injuries come along the best we can do is too four imo
Stats show that liverpoolfc is the real madrid in the Epl
Great video Again thanks David Great to hear you vew I think he Great thanks Sean from wexford Ireland 🇮🇪
Legend Sean, nice one.
Lucky. In life you need lots of luck in everything you do. But there is nothing you can do about it as it's from Heaven and Fate of the person's life. There is nothing about how clever a person is., just ask Ten Hag who inherited clowns while Slot inherited a near world class team.
Have we scored from a Setpeice yet though ? bar the 2 in Milan we have been poor. On the weekend against palace we couldn't beat the first man
Cheer up
Remind me what arsenal have won? Why you keep talking about them. They finished 2nd twice nothing more 😂 biggest bottlejobs going
I know what you’re saying but they’ve been better than Liverpool for two seasons now. If you’re going to win the league, that has to change.
