@ Not to be pedantic, but a double entendre is, how shall I say it, a more nuanced pun. And in this case, I found it to be a more nuanced humor he used, and hence me saying double entendre. However, if you found that “Bournemouth stands for deforestation” as more straight line humor, then from that perspective, it would be a pun. I guess in this case, it comes down to subjective interpretation on both our parts.
Big time apology will be due to Poch if Maresca's team somehow finish 6th or lower. Unlike Poch, Maresca's team is getting progressively worse, doesn't have a lack of experience or injury crisis as an excuse, and never lost to Guardiola in the PL. They have had a better start this season but losing 14 points from a winning position so far is utterly inexcusable and on the manager. The warning signs were there in the narrow wins against Newcastle, Brentford, Leicester, Tottenham, this team doesn't know how to finish off games and is not learning from it at all.
9:44 If a major league implemented a system where if the fans cheered enough, then they could overturn an offside call. My eyes would be glued to the screen every single match.
Took Arteta about 5 years to finally give his mentor a proper game, not sure Maresca will get that long to summon the psychological energy and ruthless nastiness required to really want to kill Caesar with a passion. Chelsea played with a mentality like they were up against vintage City.
No ones better than playing down to our opponents than Chelsea, we could be playing the worst United side ever and I still wouldn’t be confident that we would turn up
U lot could have just parked the bus and run us on the counter and u would have won 4-0 . Or have a tighter defence . Why go for high line against city

Gvardiol is looking like quite the Libero. Almost resembles the style of Blanc. Though Gvardiol needs to be more keen in his defense and time the backtracks to even start comparing himself to Blanc. Still, a lot of potential.
It's telling that our 1 win in 7 coincides with Jackson last scoring. Goals are momentum swings and momentum is everything in Football. Goals change games end of, it's cliché for a reason. Newcastle's run is arguably down to Isak. His goals have been crucial to turning the tide or cementing games, likewise Haaland. I actually now regret not going for Omorodian or even Duran. I've been Jackson's biggest advocate for the longest time but sadly this Chelsea squad isn't conducive for burgeoning talents and we just don't have the time or environment now. Under Poch, arguably everyone improved. For all of Poch's faults and failings for "too much running", our teams were extremely fit and sustained the fight throughout the 90mins. We were scoring late goals and running teams ragged. Now we barely have a good second half in games. One thing that we could've hung our hats on with Poch is he's a squad builder, a talent nurturer. A somewhat father-figure to the players. He turned good talents into world class, took a mediocre Spurs and turned them into title challengers. Most of all he knew how to remain competitive in a 5-year period. Sure, his methods were somewhat outdated but I'd gladly take Poch's chaotic and high-energy football than this tactical ineptitude. Name a player under Maresca who's done even marginally better than in Poch's last few months. Poch was a known quantity, with Maresca can we even turn it around? Is his stern tactics a hinderance for a players low on confidence? We don't know.
Chelsea's GK is genuinely mental btw. This club has spent around 80-90 million total on the four or five different keepers in their squad, most of them are off on loan playing well, and they went with probably one of the worse ones in Sanchez for their main starter. If they had that much money to spare for GKs alone, why would they not sign one or two top level GKs, instead of signing five, of which not one of them is good enough to start for a Premier League club in top 4 conversations? It's so strange. What's even stranger now is how Sanchez continues to consistently make massive errors that lead to them conceding, but they don't seem in any kind of rush to replace him.
Excellent jokes in this video 😂 “It’s a game of inches... I don’t usually do well in those games.” 😂😂😂😂😭😭😭 “Sometimes you just need to low block to solve some of your problems” 👌🏾👌🏾😂😂
Yeah this is one of the two football channels I watch every upload of. I actually wait for the new ones, unlike other channels focused on football. HITC Sevens is other one!
I mean, this sort of wobble (1 win in 7 now) does seem to happen to Chelsea in most winters in recent years, it is a pattern. Now you see why we were hesitant/refusing to label ourselves as title contenders. As for City, I wouldn't be surprised if they end the season in 2nd, assuming Liverpool are too far ahead.
Companies like ENIC aren't just interested in owning a castle and the moat around it, I imagine owning the biggest landmark in Haringey was merely a prelude to much wider territorial gains and high level local influence. I'm not sure they're going to move out of their stronghold anytime soon.
First of all, love your stuff and respect your takes on different clubs! I agree, I don't think it's a red. I also don't think your screen cap is at the worst point of contact, where his studs go down his shin.
I'll vouch for goals that are super hype and cool standing. Also will add that if you make a super terrible mistake (like the recent fumble Ramsdale made vs forest) then the goal should stand as well.
I am not looking forward to the Dortmund video :( Also what is up with Premier League not letting you use video of the matches. NFL does and they are pretty litigious.
Arsenal fan here, and to be fair, the image you used for the Lewis-skelly red was a bit misleading😅. It was definitely not a red, but the image you used just didn't give the proper context.
I love how City have some of the best squad depth in all of football and go out and buy another striker and two centre backs. Meanwhile Tottenham who is notorious for having literally no depth are still opting to play a 18 yr old RB/DM at centre back and not even being rumored with any players yet it's Anges fault, love it here.
Great video. Would love a video on Norwegian talents. Haaland and Ødegaard obiously has made their mark, Bobb and nusa is on the rise, and Nypan is in conversation with top clubs. Norway has a population of 5,5 Million as of 2023.
I know it is easy to say know but Chelsea's performance in the first half of the season often felt to me like they were overachieving compared to their actual displays. Take the Brighton game, for example - they won 4-2, but it wasn’t dominant. A penalty, a free-kick screamer from Palmer, and a questionable goal from a rolling-ball goal kick (that should have been disallowed) shouldn’t overshadow a performance that didn’t match the scoreline. The Tottenham game was similar: down 2-0 but handed two penalties en route to a 4-3 win, courtesy of some shocking defending. Noni Madueke is another example of a player that has kept getting away with it the whole season - now he scored a tap-in against City but contributed little else, with Gvardiol consistently exploiting his side. Yet, he still gets good ratings for one moment of impact - which is more than he usually does. And then there’s Maresca’s tactical choices. For instance, pushing Gusto into a No. 10 role in attack (like Rico Lewis sometimes at City) for some games earlier in the season makes little sense when he doesn’t score or assist. With so many creative players available, why rely on a fullback for that role?! Maybe it’s just too clever for me to get.
While City have real depth and versatile players, they have the smallest squad of experienced first team players. In fact, the smallest squad. Apart from City's initial spend at Gaurdiolas inception, the coming in have been replacements. We all saw what teams did to City's lack of defence with Stones, Walker, Ake injured and now Ruben Dias with niggles. With Grealish unfit, and now subsequent injury with Doku, the additional team members are understandable. While Gvardiol (❤) played along the wings during those first 6 games when the injuries were not yet as rife, pep played him more in position as a left back during the heavy injury-heavy games. More team members are needed. The squad needs to get bigger. The whole of City players, bar Haaland, play internationals. Marmoush is gonna be big! 🎉
Forrest are a good defensive team, but they allow a lot of shots from outside the box, it’s unfortunate for them that they allowed the wrong man that chance. The game was just derailed for them after that goal

Rashford is a great person who is very philanthropic. But, he isn't doing justice to the 300,000£ he is earning every week. Don't these people get sick everytime their bank gets the money while they haven't done sh*t
why the worry lol. most of the time, it's the manager/coach who will get the axe, not them. the team can't do much anyway because pretty much no other teams can match their wages (hence they're still with the team) and most probably the team have to pay the remaining wages if they terminate the contract early.
