When two human beings meet in this gesture of sawubona, the acknowledgment is "we see each other", and that become an agreement because we are obligated, from that point, to affirm the reality that seeing has empowered us to investigate our mutual potential for life. So it invites us to communicate -if we see each other, why are we here at the same time? What has this moment of time given us to do? So it is an invitation to participate in each other's life.
Alafia Baba: Thank you for your work with our youth. They are in need of the wisdom of the elders, we are in need of the energy of the youth. working together in this way will assure our future and make the ancestors proud. Chief Luisah Teish, Iyanifa
It's important to re-establish the question "how do I have to be as a human being for someone else to be free?" You tell me, and I would explore that possibility.
This seeing also obligates a person to give to each other what's needed for that moment of life to be enhanced. For me now seeing represents the question "how do I have to be as a human being for you to be free?" because I think our present civilization has taken away freedoms from human beings; not because one culture oppresses another, but because we lost the imagination of what sight meant, of what these inner capacities really mean.
This message generates in me a desire for more selfless ways of seeing and being that may facilitate harmonious growth of my own consciousness in concert with that of others...….
We "see" (and make effort to internally recognize) your spirit. A Spirit to Spirit , place of expression and shared dailog. A number of earths "first peoples" have this core structure built right in to the heart of there language expression and cultural idenity , for example the act of voicing the greeting "Osiyo" in the Tsalagi language is not a simple "hi there" its also true there is no word for "I" only "we" in a number of "first peoples" language expression structures.
@1:37 it's an invitation to participate in each other's life. seeing sawubona obligates a person to give to each other what's needed for that moment of life to be enhanced. for me now seeing represents the question: how do I have to be in order for you to be free? @2:39 how do i have to be as a human being for someone else to be free? you tell me, and i will explore that possibility. @2:43 inwardly we all know what the prerequisites are for our own freedom. it's a type of consent. it is a type of agreement, we need in order to be. to exercise freedom, we can't do it out of self-interest. freedom can't be pursued out of self-interest. @3:08 freedom must be a mutual gift from one human being to another; recognizing that if I limit one person's freedom, I limit my own. @3:19 we can't take away something from someone that is so mutually tied to the state of existence. freedom is not from something, or to achieve something; it's a freedom to be present with.

There is no safe container to store your values while you’re at work; not living your deepest values will leak on you No sudden moves: You’re looking emotional commitment right in the eye. slapCompany Question to you: Where do you stand?
Hey, what about systemic racism or segregation in school districts. Check out Savage Inequalities by Jonathan Kozol--poor kids get get bad schools and have no way to advance themselves. For over 300 years, America forced people to be slaves, and then they have discriminated against them since. Some odds. And this only racism, not to mention the problem of classism. (Oh, and charity is only a patch over the hole of systemic inequality).
I have taken enough Psychology and Sociology classes to know things aren't fair, but a blanket statement of all rich people are bad is just your PATCH. If you got what you want (income redistribution) poor people would be poor again in a year. They would waste all their money. Poor people don't know how to make money, how to behave, or anything related to being successful. They are experts, however, in rationalization, excuses, and feeling bad for themselves. They areantithesis of "the 7 habits"
Total bullshit. What is your solution? Going back to a barter system and cottage industries? Keep dreaming or go to college and get a job. Poor people are poor for a reason.
Man...this is THE gift of the day...gratitude for bringing such light to my tribe😊❤
