We work with trauma clients, from infants to adults, and we see birth trauma in most of our clients. These first hours and days create a pattern for resilience in the body or lack of resilience and how we respond to traumas later in life. Biodynamic therapy supports building resources in the body of safety and love, as one client said it this week - "I feel as if a plump nest of stillness is growing within me."
How would you help healing of an adult, separated from it's mom at birth by mother being able to hold but not feed and having them cry and cry for 12 hours!? Mother in anguish... And then - negative words spoken over her, her entire in-uterine life... (?)
I love this video. I would love it even more if the babies and parents pictures showed more of a cross-section of humanity. It seemed pretty darn fair-complected to me.

Does a CS baby goes into the same stages of birth? Does he goes into these stressful events?
