Prv is kept at discharge side of the fire pump and it is kept to maintain the required pressure on the line and release the excess pressure if build during the operation to avoid any disturbance to the connected pipes and fittings
The water we are using for fire purpose is potable so we dont need to use strainer as per nfpa 20, if in case, water is of river, lake side then the requirment of stariner is there
Seen many videos. No one explains, how even without any pump running, pressure is maintained in the system for ready use. No one mentions the Air Vessel, which is the component storing energy. I expected you would cover this, but disappointed.
