It's a common statement to say of of a singer that she/he uses her/his voice as an instrument. I think what makes Aurora so special is that she uses her voice as a whole orchestra. It's particularly obvious in songs like The Secret Garden or her own version of Into The Unknown. If you like Aurora's Voice, you should try Lorena Mckennit. The Mystic's Dream, live at the Alhambra, for example.

Gosh i love aurora. And Billie. And i looked through to see if you have ever reacted to Raye… i think you would love her if you havent heard her. She has a jazzy, operatic, pop, r&b vibe. Oscar winning tears at royal albert hall is prob my fave performance
If you haven't yet, i would suggest the song CURE FOR ME, by AURORA, its yet another different side of her, its poppy, techno sound , and also a good message.👍🍀
Seen Aurora live a couple of times. Top notch. IMHO people like Jason Isbell and John Moreland are the music scenes most interesting songwriters these days - so I really like Aurora's folky approach here.
