Tony Hawk is such a cool dude, and love his choices. I got to meet him when I was serving back in college in Cincinnati. Super down to earth, and let a bunch of our staff take pictures with him.

I'm pretty sure my type 1 diabetic brother keeps Smarties alive. He buys them like 10lbs at a time. Apparently they're made of dextrose, and the diabetic specific dextrose candies are like 15x more expensive, but literally the exact same thing as Smarties.

Being a kid in the 90s, Tony Hawk was so inspiring. And he grew up to be a super nice, humble person. Any video/interview with this dude makes me happy.

Haribo is THE gummy brand for me, there's something about the texture I prefer over other gummies, I love the mouthfeel lol

I agree! I prefer it because they are "tougher" and not so squishy. It is similar to me how like regular gum is vs fruit stripes that just shreds and gets weird.

@NikSG94 Doesn't matter you or we, Tony Hawk is someone the world round knows. The last few months have been some really niche people. They went from big name singers and actors to people in the last 5 videos that I couldn't tell you what they do.
Absolutely love everything he talked about and have been a fan of his since the 90s, thank you for this.
Tony brought me back to my childhood with the mention of Farrell's. I too am from the San Diego area and there were two locations near us that we'd go to. Chocolate Cokes and grilled cheese sandwiches and a hot fudge sundae for dessert (my nana's homemade hot fudge sauce was tons better, but theirs was second).

We get those “smarties” in canada but they are rebranded as “rockets”. The branding “smarties” are basically an m and m style treat with a thicker candy shell here in canada and they are so good

tony hawk was such a vibe when i was a kid in the early 00's thats why skate 3 one of the best nostalgia games ever watching this and tony seemed like a down to earth real dude and still does today love the vid good to see tony still making content for all of us!

Love this. Growing up watching tony hawk and seeing all the relatable snacks and candy. It’s interesting ti hear he was raised the same way I was . Very cool. All great snacks and the Ferrals we went to was in Santa Ana Orange County. Miss that place.

I work for the company that makes bit o honey. These candies are made on the same equipment from the early 1960s and incredibly make more than 650 pieces of candy per minute!
When I used to work at a fair, I made friends with the fried pie vendor there. One day I brought him a pack of bit o' honey and he wrapped each individual one in filo and deep fried them. The bit o' honey became very soft and melty and it's honestly one of the best sweet snacks I've ever had! DEEP FRY YOUR BIT O' HONEY PEOPLE!

Those are snacks that I still love to eat. You have great taste. The Ritz crackers with salami was one of my mother's snacks that she introduced us kids too. Yummy!! I haven`t had that taffy in years. We used to get it at the local grocery/ convient store.

Of all the guests I'm most surprised and overjoyed to find out I have the exact same taste in snacks as, it's Tony Hawk! Like everything, ESPECIALLY the bit-o-honey.
Such a likeable guy, an icon from my childhood and to this day.
The first one was just a lunchable lol. But Tony is a super chill guy, seen him on a few podcasts and he's always humble.
Great choice on the Haribo Happy Cola for flights,they are the best snacks for planes. Of course, you should also bring pretzels alongside with you.

Kinda weird how we have the same exact tastes in snacks. Salami cheese crackers, and Haribo cola bottles. Jelly Bellies are great too. Nice. I've had both in the last few days. My go to is the Hillshire salami plates. The wine ones. When I went to Berlin, I brought back a whole backpack full of Haribo, the customs guy was pretty amused. And I found a new taffy to try.

I had some of those Haribo Fizzy Colas on a whim about a week ago - they are delicious. Found them at the local grocery, but they didn't have the Haribo Berries that I was searching for.
I love Ritz by the way. I'm more into the Ritz bits specifically but he eats just the crackers and he can choose whatever cheese he wants. That's still pretty cool

Haha that's awesome. As soon as I hit play I grabbed some cookies and some candy. I literally opened my Rockets at the same time Tony brought out the Smarties. Rockets are the exact same candy as Smarties in Canada, the name is different because Smarties in Canada are like M&M's.
