They lost my baggage twice. Every Delta Employee in ATL was useless and all but one was rude. The 2nd time my bag was lost was back home - FNT. I was told 3 hours. I returned in 5 hours. no clerk. The 800 number told me clerks were not answering the phone. I walked over the counter and went into the back room where I found one sleeping and one apparently finishing a nap-she was straightening her clothes and looking a bit stunned Delta's answer - 3,700 FF miles. If they aren't on Airtran no thx.

This is a nice video. My favorite color schemes for DELTA is the Flying D on the propeller aircraft of the mid-50's and the widget. These other paint jobs are mediocre or just fair. Delta ,in recent years has lost its SOUTHERN HOSPATALITY in its attempt to go global. Enjoy the background music of the video.
...what manner of illogical idea is that-- no one is ordering new A340s, they're outclassed by their competition in essentially every performance regard. Odd too, considering that the similar A330 is such a stellar performer.
If you had half a clue, you'd probably be dangerous... no one is "swallowing" anyone, this is a MERGER not an acquisition. NW's stock and board members are being merged into DL. NW's shareholders AGREED to operate under Delta's name and (eventually) certificate. So perhaps you should vent your obviously misdirected angst at the "Red Tail" for AGREEING to be a part of the transaction as it exists... one they could've just as easily walked away from.
