I think you still have two good options even without using vscode or STS. First, the maven command line will get you a long way. Second, hot of the press, the release notes of the shiny new IDEA 2024.1 mention newly added support for OpenRewrite recipes.

The Spring Tools links in the description are for vscode and eclipse but not for intellij.

Can this be used on legacy systems? That uses Struts and Java 1.5 for example.
