Your completion of homestead projects and sharing an easy gooseberry fool recipe is truly inspiring! You bring such dedication and creativity to your homestead, turning tasks into accomplishments and delighting others with delicious treats. And I am a floating village life from Vietnam.
The pigs look very happy😂 Big Nick, Uncle Nick, the builder man, whatever the moniker, I just wanted to say how I admire you and your dear Angie. You epitomize what I find so wonderful and interesting about the new expat community in Portugal, an enterprising, hard-working, pioneering group with incredible community spirit. You, especially, are always willing to give of your time and to pass on your expertise to others. You are building a new generation of self-sufficient individuals who are learning so many useful or older skills , people who are no longer caught up in the rat race that empowers the already rich and increasingly depletes the lifestyles of the poor 'workers'. Kudos to you!🎉🌟⭐️🌟💛
I think that there will be a massive water tank with a bridge across it in the very near future. This is another great video made for the public to enjoy , they enjoy their lives ; homesteading their property and raising animals ; they enjoy their gardens and share recipes with everyone. I especially enjoy the banter between them; very light hearted humor , they are fun to watch . Baby ducks are so cute too ! Question for you all to ponder : what was the very first time you saw Nick in a video ? Take care and many blessings 💕
The leak detectors are a great idea! When I reincarnate I want to be a pig (yes, that’s what I said!) but only if I can live with you. Snazzy new home, water, mud, good food, sunshine and great ‘parents’!😍🇨🇦
Love gooseberries but not had any since I left NZ 54 years ago. Can’t get them here where I live. Your gooseberry fool looked delicious. Your pigs are great. You both look after your animals so well.
Very smooth move on the pigs relocation! They are so gentle and used to your love❤❤ So blessed! They are loving their running water❤❤ what a joy to watch.
Wonderful video luvs!! I keep seeing Nick in a Cafe Racer Sparks t shirt!? Is that Sparks Nevada? Or is it a racing motor cycle team your way?? Thank you dearly for sharing your hard work prohects! So thankful for everything you share!❤❤ have a beautiful week!
Hi Guys!! Pausing at 15:24! What a wonderful cold room! Such a luxury addition! And since we see Nick fits on the bottom bunk of the beautiful table, Andrea gets the top bunk to herself in those blistering hot days for a cool down😂❤
A channel from Alabama put up a shade cloth over the area where his pigs have a wallow. They lay in that wallow most of the heat of the day in shade. So nice.
You two are slowly chipping away at making a gorgeous homestead. From my own experience living on acerage it's such a great feeling when you complete a project or three.
It's a great butchering set up in the cold room. You've done a good job of securing the fence. Animals will find the weakest link and work their way out!
Yogurt acts exactly opposite to cream. The more you move it the more liquid it gets. Best to whip the cream and fruit and then very carefully mix it in with the yogurt.
Lovely vlog, the piggies are happy. Goosebury fool - yum! Ducklings! Lovely 😍 The cold room will help with all that lovely produce you're getting. Never seen those peaches before 😊
My grandma was an amazing cook. Never bought caster sugar. She used to put regular sugar in the blender instead. She swore it worked just as well and I’ve no reason to doubt her!
Ow wow I love donut peaches Pigs were amazing just going straight we’re you wanted them to go Great cold room Pigs are loving there water mud bath they are going to be so happy there I so want me some of that gooseberry fool 😋 Thank you for sharing 😁
Your hog wallow is the best. That was one heck of a little peach tree. I can just imagine it full grown. (The tree will be groaning)🥰 Are you going to process your goats for meat? The pigs thank you for their wonderful wallow.
Hi ! Me again!❤ I have never heard of a goose berry before, and here I am pausing and googling if we can grow them in Nevada! Weird that some states on the east coast don't let you grow them, but Nevada has no restrictions! Might try next year! Currently 102 day time temps here, July 5, with a heat wave predicted for next few weeks, so growing something new is not an option! Your recipe looks fantastic Andrea!
Ribes plants really are forbidden fruit to some people. Residents of New Hampshire, North Carolina and West Virginia are completely out of luck as those states enforce a statewide ban on all Ribes species. Delaware, Massachusetts, New Jersey and Rhode Island enforce a permit system. Most other states ban Ribes cultivars that are not resistant to the White Pine Blister Rust (WPBR) pathogen. They apparently carry a pathogen to pine trees.
Does Nick realise with that cold room table he's built himself a doghouse bottom bunk if Andrea thinks he deserves it one day. Good sleeping bag needed though.
We are trying to be more self sufficient, and care for our animals and fauna, the best we can, along with trying to bring this farm back to it's former glory
Check out the description for links to xsense
The desert looks delicious. Pigs are happy. Life is good.
Thank you for sharing your life with all of us! Fantastic
Pigs wallowing and gooseberry fool happy days😍
I didn't think that you could get solid Ash that wide anymore without selling a kidney. Well done!
Love to watch the pigs happy in the mud pool!
😂😂😂

Answer : Indie Projects - Theo asked Nick to help weld a window frame for their barn conversion many years ago, a small kitchen window .
I also recall seeing Theo and Bea at a pizza party in the back patio , as you know I treasure the memories ; 💕
'Project Portugal' the best youtube channel❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Baldrick strikes again with his "Cunning Plan"....LOL
Made my day watching the pigs in mud ❤
Loved to see the piggies enjoying there new place! Great job!
Thank you guys, there is nothing more smile inducing than watching animals play. The "fool" looks good, might have to try and find some gooseberries .
Perfect, you have sauna for the cold days and that bench in the cold room for the hot days, lol

You and me both!
It didn't take those two boys anytime at all to find their new wallow. A real treat watching them enjoy the water. 👍😊🇨🇦
The pigs loved the water. Looked so cool.
Love gooseberries but not had any since I left NZ 54 years ago. Can’t get them here where I live. Your gooseberry fool looked delicious.

There is nothing happier than a pig wallowing!

And if you don't behave, that is where you are going to sleep.. bottom shelf in the cold room!!
Great video loving your cool room. Great seeing the pigs rolling around in the mud ❤

The piggies are enjoying the mud😅

thanks so much for the great vlogs they make my week
Great progress.
The flat peaches are delicious! In Italy they are called snuff box peaches.😋
Awesome vid guys! The g.berry Fool looked delish😋
It's a great butchering set up in the cold room. You've done a good job of securing the fence. Animals will find the weakest link and work their way out!
Nice cold room. I got the impression that it is also for fresh meat preparation seeing the tools. Great video, keep them coming.
Superb as ever guys 😊

I make my gooseberry pie with green gooseberries.
What a beautiful piece of wood😮
Happy Friday. Lovely to see sunshine again. Pouring down and cold here!
36 at the mo, moping around indoors🤣🤣

I so want me some of that gooseberry fool 😋
Thank you for sharing 😁
^^^ All of this! ^^^
I couldn't agree more
Water is essential!!
That ash board is stunning!
It really is!
Ange, Amazon has great mixing bowls with a spout on one side. So much easier to pour your gooseberry fool into glassware!
I'm glad this Fool is made with gooseberries and not dingleberries.
Pigs in mud❤
Goat burgers, goat stew, goat tacos, goat, olive oil & mustard crispy BBQ. Yum.
Curry Goat🇯🇲
That cold room looks fab!
I may have to make one just to sleep in 😂
Mitre bond is my best friend! Glad you have a use for it.
Great video as always ❤

Yep , freezerland for sure
Suggest that you don’t use metal spoons in metal pans.

Lovely watching the pigs change colour in the mud they will love the new area
❤❤

💚
😊😊
Have you thought about electrifying fence for the pigs
Yes, but not good here in the very dry summer
❤❤❤❤❤❤
❤❤❤
I am so sorry for those little pet pigs. Going to end up as sausages.😢
Not pets, just well looked after
@@projectportugal imagine their sense of betrayal when going for slaughter 😢
Hi guys what's the plan with having so many pigs are they pet or will you be sending them to freezer camp great vlog 😊
A few going to Iceland
We are trying to be more self sufficient, and care for our animals and fauna, the best we can, along with trying to bring this farm back to it's former glory
How much more will your back take Nick!?! You help everyone around and you need to ask for pay back!
🥰😋👍😘
Hi guys, do you have a T-shirt that says 'Simple stuff' ?
On it😁
🌟👏👍🍀💐
Love watching what you do in the kitchen Ange. Nick, don’t forget, it is her domain there and so maybe let her control the narrative. Just saying.
Pretty sure she’s capable of telling her own husband if he’s in her way?
🥰🥰🥰🇵🇹
You work too much.
Let's have a video where you do no work😂
Tricky, but will try🤔❤️
The uae of a sponsor is so unattractive, i turn away. It makes your video's totally unappealing.
Three minutes of sponsor, for 40 + of free entertainment, I'm so sorry
You need to remember that video makers rely on a little income from sponsors, to top up what they earn.
Then again : some just like to complain ! With over 200 plus videos, I think fantastic content !
