My father had the same model year in the early sixties. We all loved that car.l

That is a great introduction to the car. Perhaps your next video can be a more in depth showing as it is today. The semi automatic gear change might be interesting to many people. I am sorely tempted by a 1930's model 17 but I think that it is beyond my pocket.

The engine was shared with Humber,.. there used to be a few Super Snipes here that had a turbo added, set up to add torque more then top end. Taking advantage of the lower compression of the era like that would certain help reduce the fuel bill through making the engine more efficient.

Although the Humber engine was indeed very similar to the Sapphire 346 engine the Humber version was, I think, of reduced capacity and I believe that no parts are interchangeable between the two engines.

@@davidwelch6796 IIRC, the Humber was 3.0 and the Saphire 3.5 liters. Things like Crank Bearings are the same, thanks to identical journal sizes, but the Crank itself is different, Cam bearings but Cam, Valve guides,... They're siblings not twins, like the 170 and 225 versions of a Slant Six.

Can you drive a little more slowly? I can't read that fast.
