    The suicide conversation was really interesting. I spent most of my 20's being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Nothing seemed to work out for me no matter how hard I tried. When I was 20, I had a daughter because the girl I was with lied about being on birth control. Around the age of 27 or so, I was working at Home Depot, part time and going to school. In a 2 month period, 3 of my childhood friends died. One hung himself because his wife left him. One shot himself because of his ptsd from the military, and one had been sober for 5 years then overdosed when he relapsed. I was devastated and drinking a lot every day. Like Tate, i showed up every day and kept doing what I needed to do, kept studying, kept working but I was hurting pretty bad. I had been dealing with suicidal feelings for many years at that point and the deaths of my close friends was putting me over the edge. One night, my daughter called me up on skype and she seemed sad. I asked her what was wrong and she said "Sometimes, I just wish I could see you for real." I hadn't seen her in person for 3 years because my ex had moved out of state with her. I started bawling, and pulled out my credit card, bought the cheapest ticket I could find for when my school break started and told her "Well guess what!? I just bought a ticket to come see you!" My daughter goes running through the house yelling "Dad's coming to see me! Dad's coming to see me!" My ex immediately hops on and ruins everything, throwing a huge shit fit. Fast forward a few months and I'm visiting my daughter. I stayed the whole summer break with her. During that time I did a lot of reflecting and came to the conclusion that I didn't know what I'm supposed to do or how I'm going to do it, but no matter what I will not quit until I get my life together and can provide for my daughter. College ended up not doing shit for me, so I eventually ended up going to trade school. Now I work on powerlines and make just shy of 200k a year. My life is in a place I could never have imagined just a few short years ago. Looking back, the suicidal thoughts, the depression, the deaths of my friends- while they were tragedies, they ended up being the best thing that ever happened to me. I had nothing to lose and went all in on getting out of that dark hole. I am a different person today because of it, and I am grateful for those terrible experiences. I couldn't appreciate it at the time, but looking back it was necessary to get me where I am today.

      You couldn't think yourself that putting your sperm in a woman's vagina leads to pregnancy? So if you caught hiv/aids from someone you're intimite with the outcome depends on the other persons honesty? Or dishonesty in your case 🤦

    • @popofabulous
      @popofabulous 2 года назад +32

      @@Tmo2024 haha, well, yes and no. I actually had used protection my entire life up to that point because I didn't want to have kids before I was ready. My ex and I had been friends for a long time before we got in a relationship together and she was adamant about not using condoms and she was on the pill. I told her I would only do it if I watched her take the pill every day and she said that was fine. Years later when we separated, I found all of her birth control in the bathroom drawer and she had been taking the sugar pills. Looking back there were red flags all over the place. I actually confided in my mom about the birth control thing before we even got together and my Mom guilt tripped me saying that women don't lie about things like that and saying I need to trust her if I'm going to be in a relationship with her. The whole situation was stupid and when my ex got pregnant my Mom was the worst about it towards me. Even after I caught her cheating multiple times my Mom was still like "I don't care, you have a responsibility to that kid. Deal with it." For the record, I learned from my mistake. I few years later I decided "This is never happening to me again." And I got a vasectomy. In some ways, I regret it, but it was one of the best things I ever did for myself. Since then, and especially since becoming successful, I've had women steal used condoms from my trash can, poke holes in condoms and come up with every excuse under the sun to not have me use one. My favorite one is "I just want to feel you." Yeah, I'm not wearing them because of pregnancy, I'm wearing them so I don't catch something. The crazy thing is these aren't even (seemingly) ratchet women. But since I started making a shit ton of money I feel like I have this big target on my back and there are all these women who have a life planned with me if they can just lock me down lol sorry, I already learned that lesson the hard way.

He is performative and really quite good at it. The elevated pitch in his voice is essentially compensating for his fear or fears.
    David did an amazing job regulating his emotions while pushing him to expose them and face them simultaneously.

    I don't see eye to eye with Andrew Tate on many things, I don't appreciate certain behaviours and attitudes of his and many of our values are very very different. Despite all of this, I can't help but respect and admire the guy as an accomplished and principled man with integrity. One of the many things I've learnt from watching this whole Tate thing unfold and experiencing my view of him change is: in this life some very very few men earn the right to be bit of an arsehole and still gain your respect while being that way. Andrew Tate is one of those men.

    I'm a woman and I completely love his mind, how he thinks, very similar to how I do especially the fact that the thing with the Lamborghini or Ferrari (cant remember) he saw and that motivated me as well and . He's right about the fact that most women do want a strong rich guy who can take care of em. My ass gay but my sister is like that , I never understood why cause for me I like what I like but yea I've seen her choose and deny certain man, the pattern is similar to how tate explains it, I'm not judging her , I used to but who am I to judge. Not all are like that of course but his perspective on pretty much everything just resonates with me and idk listening to him motivates me 10x more cause irl lately I don'tsee people who think like that or expresses themselves that way and it's hard to interact with most people but he inspires me to speak my truth & Love him really do

    Andrew never has to say sorry for anything because he always makes the best, most rational decision, and is always disciplined and in control of his emotions enough to follow through. You only have to apologise for two things a) your lack of discipline (laziness), or b) intentionally harming someone and wanting to win them back. Andrew is never lazy, and he always supports his previous decisions, so he never needs to apologise.

    He says at one point that he doesn't understand why women would watch this/him.
    But, as a woman, what I can take from this, is that it can be motivating. I'm familiar with depression. First that served me into becoming more aware and emphatic. I lacked when it came to being in touch with my emotions. I've been on that side (mindfulness) for a relatively long time. Grateful for it! Unlearned so much that didn't serve me anymore.
    Now it's time to balance it out. With male energy. And that's where Andrew can be of service. At first I got taken back by his provoking way. Made me feel unsafe at first. Still some things he says about the role of women I disagree with. However I don't want to look at what I disagree with. Only at what I can take from it to be my best version.

    • @nikola7802
      @nikola7802 2 года назад

      You are what most women lack. Self awareness. Most don't want to admit they lack something and want to escape that situation.The smartest women are capable of excluding themselves and their ego out of the situation and taking everything that benefits them observing the negatives and disregard the things that don't benefit them. Idk where u are from but if u live in the west you are a minority because of all the social programming which is naturally stronger on women because they never evolved to concur and set their beliefs.

    I'm beginning to believe that Andrew's success owes much more to his mother than to his father. Although he doesn't speak extensively about his mother, he speaks highly of his father's influence. While his father provided the motivation for him to achieve important milestones, it was his mother who filled the gaps between those milestones, creating an environment where he felt emotionaly secure, loved, and supported. and maybe this foundation likely instilled in him a distaste for laziness, as he perceived it as a potential means of losing his father's approval. Just guessing

    At 44:00, I recall there were studies done on this topic. The experiment was based around two groups of people, one group were getting electric shocks, the other group had the choice whether or not to swap places with an individual getting an electric shock. The result was that people overwhelmingly swapped places with those getting shocked even though it did no good for them. It basically proved that humans can be altruistic even when they'd get no pleasure from the result. Or at least an altruistic act can be the overwhelming motivation with pleasure coming secondary.

Yet this prediction has been repeatedly disconfirmed (Batson 1991, ch. 8).” - source: www.iep.utm.edu/psychego/#SH5c

      thanx for the link, QuantumPhysics. while i personally find the empathy-altruism hypothesis (it was kind of weird the conclusion substituted as equivalent egoistic-altruistic, but anyway) unnecessarily mutually exclusive, the option to leave the experiment may not fully explain a “mood-enhancing experience (e.g., feel glad someone was helped)” if those feeling higher amounts of empathy “leave the experiment without helping.”
