@@Emstacksze.m Yes bro i have it and i dont have any problem with that. I have another car Mercedes GLA 220D 4Matic 2019 with 74.000km last week rear diff damaged from nothing... OLD cars are better
I have same one but lower spec engine and equipment. Its so nice and smooth and in fact i love it so much that i am thinking about another one as my next car but with higher equipment, like Cosmo. Amazing car despite its couple of issues. Thanks for the vid!
Hey, What issues did you face with the car? Im wondering because im thinking of getting this car as my first car as a teenager, i really love this and how it looks! Im just not sure wether to go with diesel or petrol/bensin
@@hamod_4732 hi. I still have it and its been ok. I have the 1.7cdti 74kw, 5 speed manual. I had issues with alternator and it had to be replaced. The car has electrical gremlins but nothing horrible. Also had 3/4 broken springs. Nothing expensive tho. I had mostly done maitenance items and body stuff thanks to someone damaging a whole left side of my car. What i can say, its a great first car. Very easy, fun to drive and cheap maitenance. BUT many parts that are made by Opel/GM were extremely hard or impossible to find in my experience. For example i was trying to find a door lock for like 2.5 years and bought a used one in the end... The basic stuff (suspension, engine, clutch, etc.) is easy to find and get tho. Both petrol and diesel are great, but 1.9cdti can have transmission issues. Your best bets are the 1.7cdti or 1.6,1.8 petrol. 😉 I can suggest it as a 1st car.
My parents had newer astra 1.7 cdti astra J, also sports tourer I just loved to drive it, very comfortable and very good isolation in cabin, and biggest suprise it was very fun in the bends
Nice, I own OPC version of Astra H, for me the most sexy hothatch of those early 2000's and great sound when you put aftermarket exhaust, sounds like boxer engine. And pretty rare car to spot on the street.
I had the same 1.7 cdti common rail in a Corsa Sport built in 2007 (the real sport, lowered chassis, 17" rims, sport exhaust, sport interior, bixenon etc.) Excellent engine
I like it Joe ! Only beginners can drive it so that they can learn with a little car like the Astra or fiesta good job brother 👍👍🔥 can you drive a Hyundai Santa Fe 2007 if you can find one
@@existenz_svk2639 Yes, that's true. This gearbox is the worst thing in Astras. Sometimes it will last 150 kkm, sometimes 250 kkm, but it will always break down
@@pawek9143 Yes... which is really a shame. In Astra J its gotten better, but you have to service it every 60k km. In Astra H its like having a lottery ticket instead of transmission, you never know when it decides to stop working and break down :D In case of 1.9CDTi if i would not want to risk a transmission breakdown i would rather go a class higher-into Vectra C facelift ;)
@@existenz_svk2639 Yes, oil changing in this gearbox every 60k is very important. Or you can look for the newest 2.0 CDTI (after 2014) where the gearbox was better, because we had 2.0 cdti from 2010 with F40 gearbox and after 210 kkm it also broke down.
@@pawek9143 Indeed. I think the additional servicing is worth it considering how much fun and how nice the Astra h is to drive. Yes the 2.0CDTi is great although it makes the front heavy so car does not handle the best in comparison to 1.7 in early Astra J or the 1.6 CDTi,but its a good engine and 1.9CDTi succesor. I have no experience with f40 so thanks for info on that! :D I currently have the 1.7CDTi 74kw with 5 gear manual, its sluggish in higher gears and gearing is not the best (5th gear is WAY too short for a diesel) but i really love the gearbox anyway because its very direct, smooth and its sattisfying to use and very relaible and way the clutch is set up,it makes the car fun and easy to drive. I am planning if i get next astra h its either gonna be the 1.7CDTi or 1.8/2.0t petrol.
You really love your diesel engines Joe! Haha. The Opel Astra is a GOOD car, nothing more.
I have same car from 2011, now engine has 560.000km and is still strong. Just love it

Astra H is also fun on corners when driving it swiftly and smoothly, its an absoltue joy despite being a little softer than J in my opninon :) ;)
Hey joe black how you doing every time i watch your videos it’s keep getting better and better Hope you will reach Million

You have driven so many Astra's! Have you tried the Eassytronic or the automatic models?
Opel ❤️
It's interesting to see diesel Astra H. This model is popular in Russia, but most of cars are petrol.
Best generation Astra imo

The gearbox (M32) is nearly dead :( You can see the jerking of the gear lever when accelerating.

Need Astra H 2.0 Turbo 200 HP limo at day and night.
1.9 CDTI (fiat's engine) is better. Faster, very reliable and also has very low fuel consumption.
Yes,but the issue is the transmission Opel mates them to in Astras, the 6 speed M32 is not really too reliable, but the engine itself is excellent.
