- Today I went to the same hairdressers as Kate Middleton and many celebs. I'm still recovering from the bill.. but I had an amazing time! Come to the shops with me and find some nice fashion treats by Sloane Square in Chelsea, plus a gorgeous walk through Hyde Park and Knightsbridge. Sorry for the poor audio in the hairdressers, I'll get a new phone soon x

Getting my hair done is one of my absolute favourite things to do, but I agree 100%, the least you can do is get a free coffee or tea!
In Turkey, every hairdresser offer free tea and coffee (unlimited!) and this is part of the culture...It is really strange that they charge you for that...But hey! I liked your new hair color! Cheers!

Another of my favourite place. One can never get bored of this areas. So beautiful. I remember Saatchi gallery use to have a fashion event where small brands come to show case their designs and accessories from UK and surrounding countries. Used to be so much fun to attend. Great vlog. Don't you just love London???? I 100% agree, you should not have to pay extra for tea, coffee or soft drinks at salons. I've been to very expensive and cheap salons and have never paid for drinks. Hair looks fab.

My daughter and I had our hair blow out at 60 pounds each. Double what we pay in Canada, but the people watching was well worth it! We are missing our London so much. Thank you xx

I am also glad that I only need crew cuts, which my wife gives me, and that I don't have to worry coloring or styling what's on top of my head. I don't how you women do it. I'm in the U.S. and have only been to London once, several years ago and haven't been able to return, so thank you for letting us spend time there (and beyond) and for sharing your outings, including the actual sounds instead of a music soundtrack for most of it. Hi Hannah, I agree with you about salons not charging for wine even. I mean you are not going to have more than one . They are making a killing, not that they shouldn't be paid well, for a job well done. But yes , they should be gracious to you as well. The color job is great, I love your hair. I agree I am a hairdresser we serve free wine , coffee , soft drinks and snacks to all our clients but we are a small salon , the big expensive places that charge a lot seem to charge for everything . Your hair does look great
Ooh wow they charge for drinks😮 never seen that before (hairdresser myself in the Netherlands) here you get tea/coffee/water and what they have complementary.

You can always tell when someone looks wonderful when even after every stage of Hannah's hair she looked wonderful and the finished product - Beautiful !. I truly don't like getting my haircut because I am forced to look in the mirror, so I look as little as possible. The worst thing about Hannah's vlog is that she will not be vlogging in the next two weeks -can we stand it folks? Absence will make the heart grow fonder - I say.. I got my hair done in NYC for ages when I lived on the East Coast of the US (and spent way too much money), and all drinks were free, including alcohol. I would make sure to always get a coffee or tea to justify the exorbitant prices haha. It seems quite tacky to charge at a high end salon like that.
Hannah, your hair looks amazing, as a blonde myself, I find it expensive to keep looking good. However I don’t have to pay London price’s, I’ll never complain about my colour price again. I was in London last weekend to see my son, went to the Ivy for brunch, love the kings road area. Looking forward to your next vlog already, Keep them coming Hannah, love them. X

I absolutely agree that some drinks should be complimentary. The hairdresser around my flat gives free custom made coffee and bikkies. So Richard Ward really should give more than tap water. I am loving the hair colour -FAB!

I haven’t been past the horse bit of Hyde park in ages! You have to get up insanely early, but you can see the Queens Horses exercising and towards the end it’s playtime for them which is nice to watch! Nice seeing Duke of York Square again, it’s such a nice area, one of the cafes there did the nicest iced coffees! 🤤
Love the colour the toner has given it a violet/pink hue. I agree to charge for a drink ( at least the first ) seems mean, they could add a fiver onto any unit price across the board especially if your paying £300 no-one would have think resentful paying more ♥️
Hannah, for colour, try Nyumba on Sloane Sq. Giulia is the head colourist. Thay are good.

Your hair looks lovely that colour do not go dark ...mine is very long and I'm glad I kept my colour ...and yes while I paid alot for my haircut in Hertfordshire they asked me if I wanted tea or coffee and then charged at the end 🤔 ❤

Great video. Brings back wonderful memories. Can’t wait to return on holiday. Just love Sloane Square and I always buy flowers at that little shop as you entered York Square. Isn’t that the hairdressers that Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge goes to. Love going to the Saatchi Museum near the hairdressers also. So civil having a glass of wine and getting your hair done. Our salons we get an offer of a coffee. Love that Zara shop too. Live in Canada and have been buying a lot of outfits there lately to wear in London next trip. Thanks for this wonderful video. I’ve also had lunch at Polto Restaurant. Just love King’s Road my favourite place and the walkway behind Tiffanys.

My salon serves free wine. I think it is a part of hospitality. Appointments are often 3 hours which is longer than I spend at some of friends' homes!🏡🍷
Hi Hannah! Your hair looks amazing! I’m shocked that they charge for any drinks. The salons that I go or have gone to in Pennsylvania have free drinks running from water to soda to tea and a full coffee bar. Mimosas, wine, and champagne (on weekends) are also free and they also offer free fresh baked cookies and fruit!

Tea, coffee and bottle water is usually complimentary in hair salons in the US. But it does vary by salon.

Your hair looks lovely. The salon I visit in Cyprus does my highlights, trim and blow dry for about 90 euros and they always offer a complimentary beverage.
I find highlights are just so much in London!

I agree, drinks, including a glass of wine are complimentary at my hairdresser and I “only” pay around £100 for my cut and colour. Glad I don’t have to pay London prices!!

Hannah you were ripped off! Your dad is right. You could’ve had a weekend in Cornwall and booked in a Cornish salon and had the same treatments plus a free cup of tea all for less than £300. Your blow dry wasn’t even anything special, but I’m always let down by the blow dry in some places too. Great video xx
So agree about blow dry.. I tell them no, drive home and dry it myself.. Or if it's cold I let them do a quick dry. Then go home and redo it.. Hairdressers never do a good blow dry

The high-end stylists in the US don't charge either for the beverages. Never been to one that offered food like a cafe though. Keep up the great content!!!
Hi Hannah!! I love Kerastase. I use it exclusively. It’s hard to find salons who use it. Most of them have it for a couple of years and then do something else. I order it online for the most part. The first thing I thought when I saw the drinks menu was “they are charging for drinks in a salon?” Yeah. Out here they offer you drinks and they are complimentary...I don’t think they offer beer. It’s mostly water, coffee, tea, wine, champagne. Sometimes juice or lemonade. OMG that was the salon Kate and her Mum go too? Very Cool!!! It’s worth the 300£ just for that experience. And your hair looks great. I think you would also look great as a brunette. You look a lot like your sister and she looks very elegant with her brunette color.

Weirdest place was Venice where you had to show your special pass to be recorded by an attendant sitting at a desk in order to use the restroom, found it hilarious. That was a fun walk and video, sparkly princess shoes are pretty.

I totally agree with you I am so sick of London salons and huge prices and not delivering what I ask for but at least you’re happy with the results you have beautiful hair and don’t think the blow dry was anything special can’t believe you didn’t get complimentary drink with that huge bill stay safe stay beautiful ❤️p.s you’re dad knows now get ready for the lecture.
It's just not needed to charge an extra £3-5. Ha my dad hasn't watched it yet.....
