watching the chinese in this competition (except ma lin) playing against maze is just painful.. they're clearly much stronger players, but all too dumb to drop shot... they just keep hitting it straight to him..
I don't think you understand it either... if you have watched both matches, you would have noticed that Maze(at least at that time), no matter in service&return, over-the-table attack or loop to loop rally, could stand up against both Hao Shuai and Wang Hao(i.e. he didn't win only those lobbing points). How does a "vastly superior" player lost 0-4 anyway? And the Chinese team didn't practice "smashing" instead of "lobbing". Later Maze was destroyed because the Chinese developed dropshot.
