This is such a phenomenal band, really wish Javier and Matt got some more recognition from people because there really wouldn’t be animals as leaders without them

I feel like Matt gets a lot of recognition, especially with all of his playthrough videos. Javier, though, is an understated master. I love Mestìs

Yeah Matt, I'd say, gets almost more share of the press than Tosin these days

I only know Tosin. He's phenomenal! Only heard one song by them before. WOW! These guys are great!

This band is incredible. Definitely shoukd listen to all of weightless and the joys of motion. Incredible bodies of work. Their self titles album also has some crazy trippy songs I use to sleep to

Matt Garstka is such an incredible drummer. Definitely one of my favorites. Their old stuff before Matt joined is insane also. Although a lot of the drums are programmed if I remember right by Misha Mansoor. Sounds incredible! Some of the parts are super human lol! Notably from the album Weightless.” They’ve always had such incredible polyrhythmic arrangements. My favorite track with Matt is probably from the album The Joy Of Motion. The specific track is “The Woven Web.” Insane drum parts. Another good analysis man. Cheers!

Actually there was no delay in the first part, Tosin was playing all the notes, making it sounds like delayed

Excellent. My introduction to this band. Sorta a Metal Bela Fleck

That's a great description! Man, I haven't heard anything by Bela Fleck in a LONG time. I need to freshen up on that catalog at some point. Thanks for checking out the reaction! Glad you dug the band! 🤘😀

Haha, ALL the way into the rabbit hole huh? Hmmm...alright, I think I'm up for that challenge! May take me some time to get around to, but that sounds like an awesome idea!
