- I have been to every All-Ireland final we have been in in my life (3) including coming home from France to see us lose in 2007.and I was there in 2013 on the pitch from Dubai. I wasn't going to let 8,000kms of distance stop me getting home to see us win for the first time in 45 years. And what's better, I got to experience a childhood dream with all of my family! An incredible few days that will go down in Limerick (and Kildimo Palasskenry) history! Luimneach abu!

I watched the whole thing in the local pub with my mam, dad and my sister. Before these final moments me mam was saying, ‘we have it! We’ll win,’. Then when the final moment occurred I was furious and thought she had jinxed the whole thing. My heart was beating so fast I thought I would have a heart attack. When Limerick won I stood up and cheered until I started bawling crying, my mam thought I was overwhelmed so she sat me down, I was hysterical with joy at this stage and even me dad was almost in tears. This was my first all-ireland I ever watched. I am 12 years old and this story, I will tell as a witness to my grandchildren.
