They kinda made a point of showing the jumping opponent NOT attacking so I kinda doubt it has any air invulnerability frames tbh; it's probably not a true anti-air. I might be wrong tho we'll have to wait and see footage from people at gamescom
The crackshot There's an anti air that controls spacing So it catches people off guard because they don't expect it, and as quick. You have to Presuppose the attack in order to counter it.If you jump, that's how good it is
Yeah, but it doesn't look like one in SF. Ken was empty jumping and the startup seems way too slow compared to normal SF anti-air specials. Remember, they did showed Akuma doing a cool-ass anti-air combo with bHK in the trailer, only for the character to come out and everyone realize it was dogshit as an actual anti-air. lol It's probably only ever good as a read against an empty jump.
If Terry's flame punch is only on 214LP, that might be a clever way for the devs to make Burn Knuckle only have two strengths, just like in the original games. Nice detail!
Same thing with power wave actually! Since 236HP is Round wave, (that plus on block special move that he does before juggling into the single power geyser) it means that power wave only has a Medium and a Light version! That's so _FREAKING_ SMART
I can't wait to see Demondan's tundra storm montages when Terry releases. So many of his moves including DI is a kick. Oh jeez, what will happen to Elena when she releases?
If 3S Elena is anything to go by she will be safe, it isnt just kicks, is kicks that go forward in a 90 degree angle and probably her only normal that fullfills that (kinda) is 5HK
@@Moonaticc anything that goes low (physically, not just block low) prob won't catch either. Any true airborn states don't catch, but she may have only fake airborne states(they don't air flip out when hit) like most of the low crush moves.

Crack Shoot is often used as an anti-air. But instead of an upwards one, it is a forward one, that also goes passes projectiles. Often the Ex Version is a little overhead that caused floor bounce. It also seems power charge allows a mini stun. Because later on in video it shows Power Charge into Power Wave.
That was Trinity Geyser. Different move where he slams both hands on the ground and it's like a screen traveling flame wall much like his EX Power Wave here. Triple Geyser here is from Real Bout. It's the very move he does to knock Geese off the ledge.
Oh dang you're right. I was gonna make a comment about how XIII's Triple Geyser was kinda bad and Capcom is doing it justice, but now I don't have to lol.
Pretty sure the DI animation is meant to be his line blast from Fatal Fury Special, it's just unfortunate that it looks off target when the camera change occurs
@@ZephyrK. Interestingly, it's actually an SNK thing apparently. Korean localization seems to have respected this and just copied them. One theory on why SNK does this has to do with a pesticide brand in Japan, called Power Gizer and they pronounce it as Power GUY-ser (パワーガイザー), and SNK probably doesn't want the move overlapping with the pesticide.
The sparkle / lens flare effect when Terry activates his third geyser is also a reference, it's basically the same effect you get when you activate a Super in the original Garou.

The DI looks like his blow back. But I’m guessing his special to special cancels will cost 3 bars, which is at best situational for more options to kill for awkward openers to supers
Triple Geyser probably does less than raw L3 since you aren't gambling it all on one strike and get to see if the lesser amounts end the round. Looks good in any case. Won't know if he's any good until we see frame data and try him out, but at least he looks like a real character that can win without being objectively overtuned.
I kinda wonder will he ever get the animation where when he is defeated his hat flies off his head. That would be nice. 12:04 Geyser, not what we call old men lol
His lvl 2 seems to be misleading because it's being used in a combo and for that it doesn't makes too much sense to burn that many resources, but power geyser usually is also an anti-air/counter move and if you get caught by the first one the other two will reckt you. Depending on how much damage it deals, you will be as good as dead. Edit: A quick update. It has been confirmed by neogeonow that power geyser is his level 1 and busterwolf his lvl 2.
