I feel you on the "overdoing yourself" thing. I used to be able to go for 40 min runs or 2hr bike rides, now 5 minutes walking without mobility aids is enough to wipe me out for a day. Hope you are doing better, dont push yourself!
I love your videos because as a teenager with Autism you don't see many people especially on the internet sharing it and making the best of life😊 tysm for your videos❤
I’ve lived with M.E. For 20 + years. Pacing is key but it’s hard. It took me way too long to learn and I still fall sometimes but I’m much better than I was. I loved your vlog. I hope you didn’t have to pay too hard the next day❤
I've always found going shopping to be relaxing and takes my mind off things. Plus I love this time of the year when the halloween/fall stuff comes out 😀
I got a temporary wheelchair today! I have some unknown chronic illness (possibly fibromyalgia) so I can’t walk long distances but until I get my friends old wheelchair that fits me I’ll have to make do with this adult size one :) I’ve been after one for ages and I’m so glad I can finally get out and about when I’m in a flair up!
I love your vids i dont have exactly the things you have but i am 15 and have a lot of medical conditions like sickle cell disease type ss, asthma, avascularnecrosis , Oxygen problems, chronic fatuige, restless leg syndrome, distructive sleep apnea, ebnine heart murmur , tenitis, ect. i also faint a lot and a lot of my symptoms are matching up with POTS so my mom is taking me to the doctor for testing just in case but ive also recently ive gotten an official diagnosis of Autism which exlpains a lot, intinitive ADHD, OCD, and anxiety and depression. i also have lots of sensory issues and social issues. and some of these make the others worse especially all of this plus with anxiety and depression but i relate so much to you sometimes i have prolonged and intense pain crisises, joint AVN flare ups, and i just cant walk far distances anyways moments of fatiuge that can be related to my oxygen issues or just my chronic fatuige or my hemaglobin so i cant move or walk around normally so i have to use my wheel chair, walker or cane or im limping about holding onto someone or something or having to use my portable oxygen bc for school i also have a rolling backpack bc my body cant handle carrying a normal one so its rlly hard for me to get around sometimes and people especially ppl my age give me the worse stares and comments said around me like im deaf and cant hear and im already shy and embarresed by my assistance walking or my portable oxygen or how much of class i miss or how much i get picked up or come into class late so i struggle a lot also with things like making friends bc some people think im weaird or faking my conditions or im dramatic but its just me getting overstimulated so its hard for me to make friends bc im also already shy too and keeping good attendance but the freinds i have now i have one that can relate to me and my others know about my stuff and they try to understand and most of my fam is great but not all not even my own mom and dad sometimes and neither is my dads side of the fam so even at home sometimes its not great and it dosent help but anxiety or depression so i get unmotivated a lot so your videos just really make me feel seen. especially since my autism diagnosis ive just been feeling even more out of place but you make me so nispired to see someone on the internet owning and making the best of their disabilities and not embarassed while sharing it is really helping me out so love u zara! (p.s. sorry for the whole essay this isint even everything i wanted to say lol im just really greateful for you for someone to have some similar struggles and showing the good bad and ugly of their life means the world to me becuase ive even adapted some things from you!) (also your representation with your sexuality means a lot to im bisexual! )😊❤🧡💛💚💙💜💖🏳🌈
I hope that everything's ok! You always make my day, when I'm feeling down I watch your videos I always feel better and I always smile! Thanks you, and I hope everything's well! ❤❤
Totally feel you on over doing your self parts too. I get diagnosed with FND in April this year and still used to the fact that I can’t do something much or do too much anymore
I really never go out anymore because my sensory and social problems are so extreme these days... and as I watched it, it really felt like I was with you guys and it made me cry :') especially in the mall or the store... it feels like ages since ive step foot in either one. So I know that wasn't exactly the point, but thank you.✧♡*:・゚
Woah! The popsocket with the little gap blew my mind 🤯 Exactly as you've said: I suffer from Long Covid / ME/CFS and wasn't sure, if a Kindle would be any better with my lack of grip strength. Your solution sounds great!
Thank you so much for sharing your life. You explain everything in such an awesome and beautiful way! I can relate in a way because I have 90% of the conditions you have, and the world here is Australia has Zero understanding of 99% of them. One day I will show my friends this video!
Hey Zara😃 Nice to see that you're feeling well enough to have fun activities with friends!! Hope you'll having more days like this, and you looked so nice in your outfits, you look good in green👍💚 Take rest and listen to your body and mind (even if it sucks). Looking forward to the next video, lots of love.💞💞😘🥰
I am nuerodivergence and queer. I have fibromyalgia diagnosed. I'm currently stuck using a wheelchair atm. I'm looking into FND plus others and talking to my doctor and mental health professional. Thank you for spreading awareness and educating! ❤❤❤ Thought it was all in my head but it's not.
i know ive already left a long comment but its sp relatable about going out then overdoing myself and making everything worse and im only 15 but the other thing is have u watched the new heartstopper season yet i know u went the the early screenin (lucky) but have u seen the rest whats ur opinion i loved it. and thanks for the recommendation on getting a popsocket for my reading tablet its been a lifesaver with my chronic fatuige and i also just wanted to say thanks for being a safe and comforting space for me and i hope that your feeling up to and have time for more long form content in the future i llove longer vids from u!
Since you are reading Vampire books, i would suggest reading the "Chicagoland Vampires" Series by Chloe Neill. Very neat mix of modern world with Vampires and other fantasy creatures.
You should give: undead and unwed a try if you haven't already, xD The first one is very good. It gets ... hm after like book 4 or so but the first few are great :D
Amazing reading, I wish I could read as many books as you have! Do you have your GoodReads public? I’d love to see your book recommendations on there 🥰 I’ve also been wondering about getting an e-reader but the idea of transitioning from physical books to ebooks is intimidating me (thanks, autism!), but maybe I could do a mixture like you depending on the situation.
Hello Zara! I’m from the United States of America. You are such an amazing influencer. Let me tell you about myself: I’ve been autistic since I was 2-3 years old. I’ve had ADHD since 2021 before my 16th birthday. I do not have any close nor best friends ever my whole life. I do have friends, but none of them are close. I love geography, history, art, music, astrology and some foreign languages. I suffer mentally because of ADHD and autism. I love meeting new people and making new friends with the new people who I meet. I am very nicely friendly and supportive. My favorite top two colors are blue and green. I am left-handed and I can draw the world map nicely with all the countries and continents accurately. My only favorite TV show is ‘Chernobyl’ on HBO max. My favorite movie is ‘The Meg’ - 2018. I am a Virgo born on September 1, 2005. I love acrylic painting when it’s sunny and warm. My top three favorite musical artists are Taylor Swift, Dua Lipa and Karol G. My favorite music genres are pop, Latin pop, rock and metal. I look like Jack Dawson from Titanic because of my personality and hairstyle.
Your shoes are awesome, your cat is awesome, but most importantly, your smile is awesome! I hope you're doing well. .. ps, when sitting down, quickly flip your elastic pants band over/down so it's lower on your abdomen and you have an additional layer of fabric in-between. Much more comfy and less irritating (IMHO) when you're wheeling around.
Can you and your friend make a video comparing your types of power assist/ power wheelchairs? I'm currently trying to figure out what will work best for me and can't find a lot of videos comparing power options. ❤
Hey Zara, Big question, Don't know if its been asked before, but what wheel chair/scooter do you have? is this the only one you've used and can you tell more about it? comfort/easy of use/etc.
Uma pena que eu não sei inglês. Hora eu vejo ela caminhando, hora na cadeira de rodas, e ae, eu fico sem saber o que está acontecendo. Mas ela é muito simpática, desejo todo sucesso. Estou vendo aqui do Brasil.
What headphones are you wearing? I'm looking for some with good noise cancelling. Also, the whole thing looked like so much fun, I'm glad you could go out. Cheers from Uruguay 💜💜
Zara do you have a Visible device? (the arm band?) It looks just like mine (it says polar on the middle I think) that I just got and have on my forearm! I'm hoping it will help me pace myself like it says it will.
i need some advice i was diagnosed with tourette’s syndrome a couple days ago, i’ve had tics my whole life but they have just gotten worse is there anything that helps calm down tics
I have an honest question here. It's in regards to pacing. I've always been a person who had their worth on how much they can do and always needing to go go go because of trauma. Even though I've always had a disability, I've managed to push through it but it all caught up to me after needing brain surgery. Due to complications, I had a TIA or mini stroke shortly after. Now I'm struggling with not being able to do as much and having to slow down and the concept of pacing. What helped you? What has helped everyone? I'm still really struggling with the guilt and what I know now is internalized ableism.
I'm on my sister's account and I found out she is subbed notified ect. But she has autism as well as about 4 tics a common one she gets is probably kicking her leg or grinding her teeth. She is amazing though she hopes to be an ACTRESS I think she can tbh! She just needs to try! She is 14 in dec if your asking the year rn is 2024 and month is 11
Hey stranger!!😊, i saw your beginning on utube ❤, I never had tik tok😮. You come across as a beautiful soul ✨️, heaps of empathy and a great big heart ❤... your also very attractive. I just want to say Zara when you smile in your videos it lifts me up every time. Your smile is so bright and it just makes me happy.
Breaks are good and necessary!! Never feel the need to apologize or explain! I’ve also had more than usual health issues recently so I understand
You are the calmest and the most angelic girl i know! Love you🪻🌈
