Great video! I like your setup with the microscope as well as the production of the video. I'm about to get a digital microscope for my workstation & played with idea of possibly making some videos (I'd be recording & taking images for my own reference anyway). This video is making me seriously consider dabbling in some content creation! Thanks!
Hi, Robert. Thanks for the comment. You should totally give it a go. I was totally winging it when I made my first couple of videos, but I had a lot of fun with the process. One tip I would give is to just keep recording, even when it goes wrong, or you fumble your words. It is amazing how much you can hide with editing, and the final result almost makes it look like you know what you are doing 😉 Good luck and have fun with it 👍
mine gives me a black screen after 2 or 3mins of gameplay but the game keeps playing...if i connect it through RF then i dont have any issues...any ideas on what's going on?
Nice! You can't beat that. You get a perfectly working console from a good cleaning.

Great work. Glad you figured out the LED.
Thanks. I was a bit confused at first on how to remove it. Instinct tells you it is not a good idea to bend things when trying to remove them 😂
@@ScottFix From experience opening my own Mega Drive, metal fatigue definitely makes things... interesting.
@@ZonicMirage I can imagine.
Great video Scott fix
Thanks Paul 😉

Enjoyed the video thanks
Glad you liked it 😁
What tool did you use to get the gunk out of the cartridge slot?
I used long fine tipped tweezers - www.ebay.co.uk/itm/374246701418
I had the same issue, but my patience ran out so I just snipped the wires - kind of regret that now
