Sir, i have a confusion that is.
Suppose, a 2 floor property, in the 2nd floor the owner resides and 1st floor is let out. For the purpose of income-tax the half of the property will be taxable, right?
Usko jo bhi income a raha hai o to bohot minimum hai, aise case mai to assessee tax pay hi nahi karega !

If it is independent residential unit then half property would be considered as let out otherwise, full property would be considered as let out.
