    Really liked this tutorial - very easy to follow. I've had the software for over a year and only used it a couple of times so far - this has energised me to want to commit the time to shoot and play a lot more. Thank you so much.

    Do you want more occasional photography and video editing tutorials moving forward? The focus will still be game creation regardless.

    Great tutorial video. Just subsribed your channel. It is my first contact with Darktable. Once you conclude all adjustments, how do you save a new file? Is there a default location or is it save together with the origial file? Tks

      The export shortcut is ctrl e, and you want to check the light table for the export panel and related options

    Hey, I´ve got a little question about Darktable.
    So, I´ve been using Darktable for a few days and still can´t find out how to safe an edited photo. Can someone, who´s been using it quite a longer time, explain it to me? :)

    • @Gdquest
      @Gdquest  5 лет назад +1

      Ctrl e to export the pictures if that's what you're asking for. Look at the lighttable for the export options

  • @scroptels
    @scroptels 6 лет назад

    What do you use photo editing for?
    Also, i don't mind covering different software ocasionally, and for a long time i mainly followed you for Krita tutorials instead of Godot, just don't wander too much so it doesn't feel like the focus is no longer on games.

    • @Gdquest
      @Gdquest  6 лет назад

      Don't tell content creators what they should put on their channel or not. It's highly disrespectful.
      I'll keep releasing extra content on top of the weekly gamedev tuts and open projects we develop on GitHub, whether people like it or not. I work for the people who care.

    • @Gdquest
      @Gdquest  6 лет назад +1

      Art and creative directors often take their own reference photos. Photography is a good craft if you want to internalize composition, learn more about light and colors. It sharpens your eyes and benefits your graphic design, 2d, and 3d art skills.

    • @scroptels
      @scroptels 6 лет назад

      Okay okay, you don't need to take my suggestion, I'm just here for the learning anyway, and whatever you want to teach us that's your decision, i'm not gonna ask you to do tutorials about something you don't want to do or you don't even know or care about.
      Sorry if i was ofensive in any way, keep doing your cool stuff.

    • @Gdquest
      @Gdquest  6 лет назад

      I didn't read it as a suggestion at first, hence the straight reply. Thanks for your comment.
      The channel's focus will stay around games and Free Software as it's the case now. I've always done occasional bonus tuts for other programs, and it's likely always going to be the case.
