I’ve invested in Wright for a few years now, and they are much more reliable compared to Snap-on. I know the price-point is steep for some, but if you can afford a good set of tools, I’d highly recommend Wright Tool.
Those Tri-Lobe handles look really good in Blue - I need to pick up some stuff from Wright. I've recently taken the plunge and bought (4) Snap-on ratchets and a pair of the long-nose slip-joint pliers - there's no turning back the tool addiction now!
I like it. It’s not obnoxiously long, so that’s good. The gear and pawl are strong, and doesn’t slip under stress/load. The grip prevents slippage and the shaft is stiff, but no so stiff that it increases stress on the mechanical bits. Overall, very impressed with the Quality and Workmanship of Capri Tools
@@MidwestToolReview thanks man it’s the first long ratchet I’ve bought I’ve made do with a 18” for so long but I wanted one with more length. Stoked I picked the right one!
They do indeed.. I’d never seen the Mayhew until today, and I totally agree. I know Wright contracts out some of their tool offerings just like everyone else, so it’s more than likely made by Mayhew.
How are you liking the wright screwdrivers? I don't need anymore screwdrivers, but I was thinking of picking up a set just to support USA manufacturing.
I really like the Wright screwdrivers. The only way to test their quality is to use on the worst fasteners possible. That said, working on elderly iron will confirm the efficacy of any tool brand claiming to have superior quality.
Glad to hear you picked up a set. Im going to do another update soon. They are literally, the only socket brand/set I use on a daily. While they are conveniently located on my service cart, I like using them because they handle the abuse very well.

Haha i just got a 10mm capri xt90 to try it out. Seems pretty sweet. Have not been able to try it on an actually rounded bolt yet. But seems to be able to work on a good 10mm without tearing it up
Glad to see more Wright tools around. that Screwdriver is hilariously large XD
I use that super clean, you have all the time!! Works great cleaning my tools covered with grime and grease!! Love your channel!!
I don't have many Wright tools, but the ones I have are really nice. I like those screw drivers, I will have to get a set!

I believe their screwdrivers are manufactured by MayHew
They remind of a hard handle version of so instinct grip the Capri extract wrench I got the set and there great I highly recommend them

Jon, I think you’re correct! I looked at the Mayhew and they’re exactly the same!
@@MidwestToolReview i love that blue though!!!!!!
Is there a difference in pricing seeing as these may be the same from both companies?
@@Obscuregooseman5 not sure have not looked up prices
Mayhew Wright and channellock are all running the same screwdrivers
I wish it was easier to buy Wright tools. Where does everyone get there Wright tools from?
Go to their website and you can locate a distributor in your area. Unfortunately they don’t sell direct, which has come with many different views..
HJE -- Harry Epstein's has the full catalog available online. I have a ton of Wright, superb durability.
Dang that's a nice flat head for non screwdriver use for shure
Agreed
If you're mowing acres of grass you should get rotary mower that hooks up to a 3pt tractor
They look like Mayhew tools.
Those are the new Mayhew screwdrivers in blue it looks like
I have way too many screwdrivers to get those Wright ones...or do I?😅
Never can have enough screwdrivers!!
Those Wright screwdrivers look like rebranded Mayhews.Pratt Read used to make Wright's screwdrivers
