How do know what stop number gate to get off train, as the stops do not seem to have gate number. Example want gate 12, how do you know what is gate 12. Greetings from Portugal, as I will be using Stansted next month
Gate 12 will be the 1st stop as it is for gates 1 - 19 only. It is announced saying "this transit is approaching the station for gates 1 to 19 only. There is also a sign on the platform. Make sure you get off at the correct stop as you cannot return if you miss it.
It's not possible to ride the loop because beyond that point the transit train picks up arriving passengers and takes them to the passport control area and by law international departures and arrivals traffic flows at airports must be segregated.
